Noctua NH-D15 chromax.Black, Dual-Tower CPU Cooler (140mm, Black)

I have A standard sized ATX case and an MSIMEGZ590 ACE motherboard. As with other motherboardS, the clearance between the RAM memory and the PGA socket is the same, if you use standard height RAM memory you may not be able to mount the 140 mm fan on the front side of the cooler. You may be able to rig up a 120 mm? But I haven’t tried that yet. All that being said, it’s a great cooling unit. It works great.

Ich hatte wie die meisten mittlerweile eine Kompakt Wasserkühlung, meine war eine Corsair Hydro Series H100x CPU-Wasserkühlung.

I bought this for an all-black build and have zero regrets. The NH-D15 is the king of the air coolers--all other air and water cooler reviews compare benchmarks against the NH-D15 for a reason. When paired with good case airflow it cools well enough to overclock high TDP CPUs. With fans at max the noise is easily audible but crucially its not a distracting noise. Its a very low frequency hum thats easier to ignore than higher pitches. Thats what makes Noctua fans legendary in their own right--theyre not completely silent at max PWM%, but the noise they do make is easy to live with.

This monster of a CPU cooler is the best air-cooled one out there. Very easy to install. It keeps my CPU temps low and does it super quietly in the normal Noctua fashion. I absolutely love this cooler. My only con would be that it takes up so much room in my computer. Still 5/5 stars!

The reviews were all good but no one could verify definitively, that it would fit with tall heat spreaders on the memory modules, only offering a warning it may not fit. I decided to go for it and it turned out good. I swapped out a 120MM be quiet case fan for the Noctua 140MM fan that came with the cooler. Fit perfectly above the tall memory modules(4x32GB G.Skill Trident Z RGB) using the supplied fan clips and inside the Corsair 450D case. The cooling is as good as the reviews say too. A little ingenuity made for a nice setup. The be quiet could be replaced with a Noctua and that may still happen.
