This replaced an Enermax AIO for my 12900K that failed 6 months after purchase. CPU temps were reaching 100C at idle and was throttling back to prevent damage. Ordered this and it came overnight. I installed it immediately, fired it up, and idle CPU temps are now 10c above ambient. Full usage during gaming is running mid 50c. This thing is every bit as good as the professional reviews say it is. I should have stuck with my instincts when I first built my new rig but wanted to try something different with an AIO. Hard to beat Noctua.

Has thermo paste and wrench. Totally worth extra buck that you pay compared to competitors.

I have a Ryzen 9 5900x this doesnt really get the job done on that CPU. I have no idea why the reviews say this thing is quiet, even at 80% Fan speed I could hear the fans going even more than my GPU fans.

Great cooler for anyone looking for something simple and easy to install. Keeps my 5900x idling at 35-45c reaching a max of 75c under 100% usage. The Noctua fans that this cooler comes with are so quiet at 100% power that I can only notice they make sound if I turn my corsair case fans off to listen, and thats without the included noise reducing cables. Highly recommend this over an AIO. I’m giving it 4 stars because of the lack of color options for the fans, and that the $20 chromax magnetic cover for the heat sink is a separate purchase when I feel it should be included in the already expensive price.

trying to cool a 5800x3d. I switched to this from a 40$ NZXT tower cooler thts 5 heat pipes with one fan push. (get 42c-74c)

Performance on par with a 240 AIO but way quieter, and super simple installation on AM4 considering most AIO use the same pump and installation which can be annoying. Though you can buy an addon to not make it so bad. This however, is just plug and play. Solid black brings the system uniformity and with the chromax customization can tkae it even further. Highly recommended if you want a highly compatible Tower Cooler without it being so massive.

I opened the box and could not help but laugh at the size, this thing is huge and must weigh over a pound . My first thought was that it was comically large. In the pictures you can see it sitting on the CPU, and it size compared to the I/O plate of the mother board, the second pic is it sitting next to the stock AMD Cooler that came with my Ryzen 5700G. The instructions recommend you take off the cooler before transporting it because you dont want that weight bouncing around while attached to the MB. Its big.
