Greater than one weekThe noise level is quite low and the cooling performance you get out of this CPU cooler is fantastic. My one gripe with the product is that its a pain in the butt to screw the heatsink to the motherboard after mounting it. However, once that process is finished then the then the rest of the installation is simple.

Greater than one weekThe only thing I do not like about it is the lack of installing information you have to pull on the tabs much harder than you would think to mount the fans but it may be user error

22-11-2024As title, there is not enough room for 2 memory sticks on the motherboard if you want to keep both the fans on; U12S might be a better option

> 3 dayThis is my second Noctua CPU cooler. Then first one being a low profile model for a smaller (thinner) case. It is easy to install. Just make sure to check MOBO and CPU compatibility on Noctua’s web site, as well as specs height (so it fits in your case). Then just follow the instructions that come with it for your type of CPU socket (Intel or AMD) and you should be fine. With this model you can install 1 or both fans (depending on your needs). Noctua support via contact means provided in their website is great. Hapoy with Noctua.

> 3 dayYou better have a big enough ATX case for this cooler. I used it for almost 6 months. I got decent temps with the Noctua, CPU 43-45c at idle. However, I made two changes that dropped temp almost 10c on both CPU and GPU,. 1) AIO cooler for CPU and 2) Vertical riser and custom fans for GPU. The Noctua was like having a base board radiator in the case and it was heating the air in mid-case and restricting air flow. Maybe a bigger air flow case would have been better for the Noctua.
