> 3 dayThis thing is as quiet as the grave. It also weighs about 4 lbs and is quite large, so make sure your case is big enough to handle it. My motherboard is vertical inside the case, and this fan hangs heavily from the board. I thought it might warp the mainboard due to the weight but it does not. The newer motherboards are designed very sturdily.

> 3 day...and just as quiet. For the uninformed, Noctua products are typically the best in category, and this CPU cooler is no exception. Noctua coolers and fans are in all of my systems. One of these was decommissioned recently after nine years of reliable “quiet PC” operation. At the end it was running just as reliably and quietly as when it was first installed. Pro tip: Even for someone who installs these somewhat regularly, it’s easy to get confused and attempt to install the wrong model, use the wrong parts, try to install backwards, and so forth - then complain. Not a good thing. Don’t be a complainer. Order the correct model for your board and RTFQ! (Read The Funny Instructions).

> 3 daySo I did research first to see if I had any comparability issues and then compared liquid cooling vs fans as I have never used fans before. But for the bang for your buck and performance the Noctua has made a great fan that gives you performance, power and easy to install mounts. The only down side is it comes in tan/brown colors but they do make a black version.
