> 3 dayI find the manufacturers claim that this 120mm cooler offers 140mm-like performance to be exaggerated. It DOES perform well, in fact its very good within its own category, but when a company claims their product offers performance similar to a higher product category, you probably dont expect them to mean compared to *bad* products in that higher product category, right? So it was my assumption (based on the marketing and price) that Noctua was comparing this new 120mm coolers performance against their own current 140mm products, a comparison which it unfortunately does not live up to.

> 3 dayEasy to install and keeps my Ryzen 5600x cool at 50-52 C under heavy load. The fan does have a slight coil whine at 800-900 RPM but with headphones on you dont notice at all.

> 3 dayChosen for cooling performance and wide compatibility. But a bit overpriced as there are many alternatives that are much cheaper.

> 3 dayIve been using this cooler for the past 7 months on a 10th generation intel processor (i7 10700k). Ive been thoroughly impressed with this cooler, as temperatures average around the 68 degrees celcius to 72 degrees celcius range during extended use. The heatsink design allows for 100% unobstructed view of the RAM slots in most modern motherboards.

> 3 dayThe cooler is very large. Check dimensions before you buy it. I have a large case and the cooler barely fit.

> 3 dayIve always wanted the cooling power of a top-of-the-line Noctua cooler but didnt want half of my build obscured by the massive heatsinks and fans. The NH-U12A fits the bill perfectly! Installation was a snap and the fans are very quiet while keeping my CPU at low temps. Most importantly, my RGB memory sticks are still visible!

> 3 dayGreat step up from my Wraith Spire. My 2600x with PBO/All core boost enabled would run 4.2Ghz with roughly 1.4v running through it.. this made idle temps with the Spire at roughly 52°. These settings were enabled by default when I put the computer together so after hitting almost 88° while playing Siege I decided to turn that crap off and look at a new cooler.
