I bought it to cool my R7 3800x. The cooler that came with the CPU was beautiful but loud and during gaming I saw it going up to 75 degrees or so with PBO enabled. After buying the Noctua I used just the push configuration at first and saw temperatures not higher than 71 degrees while heavy gaming with PBO which is a good improvement in my opinion. Just bought the second fan for the push/pull configuration and I see an improvement of 2 to 3 degrees which is not amazing but not bad either. I just wanted to maximize the cooler’s potential and why not. Now temps are mostly mid to high 60’s while heavy gaming so no complains there. AMD CPUs are known to be very sensitive to temperature and it shows, I can tell my frequencies are considerably higher now compared to the stock cooler that it came with. Also the cooler is dead silent. Noctua makes easy to upgrade to the second fan, the box comes with extra wires and 4 thick anti-vibration pads which are needed in case you want to install a second fan. The installation was easy and the quality seems great so far. No regrets buying this, my 3800x is happy. Planning in upgrading to a R7 5800x and maybe I will write an update.

La version chromax est superbe dun point de vue esthétique, et lefficacité est également au RDV : je constate 20 à 30° de différence avec le ventirad stock dAMD (Stealth).

This cooler is great, I bought it to use with my Ryzen 5 3600 that was overheating with the stock cooler. Temps have dropped over 20 degrees and it stays cool under full loads. Only complaint is with the mounting process. The kit itself is high quality, it was just very difficult to get both sides of screws to thread when installing the heat sink.

Purchased this to replace a loud H60 Corsair for a intel 2600k, I know ancient. This thing runs super quiet for a air cooler, I’m amazed , I over clocked to 4.5Gz and still only max out at 68C the case has two inlet 120mm and one exit 140mm fan on top. I will probably add another cooler fan for funzies but I dont really need it to overclock more, this thing is really well made. The install bracket is far superior to the Corsair which uses standard standoffs. Noctua waited way to long to to come out with this color and it is really nice.

I paired this cooler with a Ryzen 7 5800X. This CPU runs hotter than the usual CPU, and it is said by AMD that it’s able to turbo all the way up to about 90 degrees. My CPU never hit that temperature, and I could barely hear the fan on this cooler.

Super einfach zu Montierten. Die Qualität ist einfach der Hammer. Flüster leise und die CPU wird optimal gekühlt. Das schwarze Design passt super in ein Modernes Gehäuse. Für jeden der nicht unbedingt rgb braucht sondern top Qualität ist hier genau richtig.

Forse sono un fanboy Noctua, ma è innegabile come appena apri la scatola capisci di avere un prodotto premium tra le mani. Inutile anche fare proseliti, Dissipa alla grande ed è strasilenzioso.
