Noctua NH-U12S chromax.Black, 120mm Single-Tower CPU Cooler (Black)

I used it for my first build, couldnt compare it to other coolers, but its working great so far. Great cooler for Ryzen 7 3rd gen. Keeps the CPU cool at 45c at idel while being quiet and Easy to install.

I like the all black, I like the name brand as a quality product the smaller version I have has yet to be tested, but it comes with all the features one would want.

Excellent product, could not recommend more. Keeps my overclocked i5 6600k at 60 degrees at a 4.4 ghz overclock during a stress test. Buy this product!

Built a box recently with AMD 5 5600X on an Asus X570 Hero VIII board. Was having a few temp spikes on pretty easy usage with the stock AMD CPU cooler. Fan Expert would run up the fans and keep it in check but I didnt like the rollercoaster temps or the noise. The NH-U12S isnt the biggest cooler available but since Im not a real heavy user I figured it was probably good enough. More than pleasantly surprised at the performance. Retuned Fan Expert. Temp is 5-10 degrees lower and a lot more stable than I hoped for. Box stays quiet and spikes reined way in. Ive tried but only been able to push the CPU over 50C once or twice. Case fans run 30-40%. Very impressed. On top of that it was very reasonable to install and looks good. Noctua really do make a high quality well thought out product.

My first noctua product and I’m happy to say I’m satisfied with the choice. Their fans are an amazing balance of quiet and performance. The original colors are as ugly as it gets but this new chromax line up is a good addition.

I received my Noctua today and it works like a dream! It lowered the idle and peak temps of my cpu 12-15c! My Ryzen 5 3600 was peaking around 94-95c while playing Black Desert Online. Now it doesnt even hit 80. Looking good! Easy to install and fits well and looks good in my setup. Couldnt ask for more. Very satisfied

I purchased this cooler to cool an AMD Ryzen R5 3600 in a Fractal Design Meshify C case. The stock cooler for the 3600 is anemic (and loud) and the goal for this build was quiet operation. After reading a bunch of reviews, I opted for this cooler (even though it was more expensive than some of the Scythe options I was looking at and I love Scythe products) as the black color would look nice in the case and the emphasis in reviews on how silent it operated.
