Noctua NH-U12S SE-AM4, Premium CPU Cooler for AMD AM4 (Brown)

This was a present for my grandson. It was easy to install while he was building a new computer. Good value There was nothing he disliked. Everything was perfect for him

Struggled with my cpu for at least a year and put this puppy in and all was better. Simple to install, has a nice quality feel, and most inportantly super quiet. Even includes the tools you need to install.

Always trust noctua to deliver high quality cooling only at the cost of an ugly looking fan haha

Well worth the buy in running an ryzen 3 3100 and my idle temps dropped from my stock cooler from 31 degrees celcius to 27 lowest on an average day. In cinebench I run 60.5 degrees hottest after 3 runs over the 75.5 degrees on the stock cooler. In games like gta ark survival forza horizon Ive not hit above 51 degrees and average at 45. My stock cooler would do 58 to61 average and hit 71 at full load.

I ordered this twice, and both times it came without the am4 adapter. I ordered the adapter with it the second time and it fit right in. Support insisted the adapter was in the box, but of the three included that wasnt one of them.

This heat-sink is fantastic... cooling my Ryzen7 1700X to 45 C under 7/8 cores at 100% load mining crypto algorithms. Its also extremely quiet and, quite possibly, the easiest to install large heat-sink I have ever touched. I would recommend it to ANYONE looking for an easy to install / effective AM4 heat-sink.

I bought this cooler after purchasing a Ryzen 7 3700X 8 cores processor because its stock cooler seems to not satisfy the buyers choice. I am really impressed how this device works. I also bought an extra Noctua fan 2.000 RPM Noctua NF-A12x25 FLX, Premium Quiet Fan, 3-Pin,120mm, put it as main and changed the stock one on the back side. It works perfect, cooling better than expected. IDLE around 38º-40º C and moving to 60º-65º C when the CPU loading id high. Better than expected. I also put a dust filter for the 2000 RPM main fan. This protect a lot the cooler body from the dirt. The thermal paste as Arctic Silver 5. Great job Noctua!

I use this cooler with my Ryzen 5 1600. Overclocked to 3.8GHz at 1.35v, I saw temperatures drop from 73c on stock cooler to around 61c in Aida64. I briefly OCd to 3.9 at 1.4125v and saw temps at around 64c. Very happy with this cooler.

Love this CPU Cooler! Pretty quiet, Great Quality, Keeps system pretty cool when in hot ambiant temperatures. With the Ryzen 7 2700x idles around 35c in 28c ambient. And when stress test for about max time on Ryzen Master stays stable around 65c. No overclock done just set to auto. Only thing I dislike is just the color. Should definitely get duo fans for best results.
