> 3 dayReally happy with purchase. I got it for my 2700X when the stock cooler started making funny noises , and couldnt be happier. Much quieter, more consistent, and significant reduction in temps (Prime95 running at 65C at 4.0GHz vs 75C at 3.9GHz on stock)

Greater than one weekIt keeps the temps of my Ryzen 1800x under control and like my other Noctua fans, its whisper quiet. The mounting system was a breeze to use and it comes with plenty of thermal compound. Highly recommended!!

> 3 dayPurchased this for a Ryzen 3600/GTX 1660ti build on ROG Strix B550 mobo with 32 GB 3200 RAM & Samsung 2 TB SSD. It looks amazing and the doo doo brown fan is its own signal of quality. CPU temps run 31-34 F at idle, and spikes are 51-55 F. Spikes reduce to 38-40 F during load within 1 second of the Noctua fan curve kicking in. The fan is also very quiet. I daresay my LED case fans are louder.

Greater than one weekJe pensais pas en avoir besoin avec mon Ryzen 5 5600X fourni avec un ventilateur dans sa boite... sauf quil chauffait trop au point de planter, sans parler du bruit.

> 3 dayGreat heatsink, but the fan clips constantly come loose. I have watched videos to verify I am installing the fan correctly; I think that my fan clips are ...slinkier?... than they are supposed to be.

> 3 dayAlways trust noctua to deliver high quality cooling only at the cost of an ugly looking fan haha

> 3 dayThis is the easiest aftermarket cooler install I have every done. It just screws into place. The instructions were clear and easy to follow. Never during the process did I feel lost or unsure of what to do next. This is the complete opposite of my experience installing a Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo on my dads work machine a week after I built my computer with the Noctua. Yes the Evo is a lot cheaper, but I am willing to pay for this convenience. The other coolers Ive installed from years ago (a Cooler Master V8 and Prolimatech Megahalem) were also not as easy.

Greater than one weekI bought this cooler to replace the stock cooler on my AMD Ryzen 5 3600 CPU. Im not a gamer so the computer is primarily for business software. I built the computer a few months back and it was very noisy. So I decided to replace the two noisiest components, the power supply and the cooler. First I replaced the power supply since that was the louder of the two. I went for “Thermaltake Toughpower GF1 750W 80+ Gold SLI/Crossfire Ready Ultra Quiet 140mm Hydraulic Bearing Smart Zero Fan Full Modular Power Supply 10 Year Warranty PS-TPD-0750FNFAGU-1 “ This is a fantastic PS, absolutely quiet..5 dB till about 60% (i.e. 450 Watts of quiet power). After replacing the PS, the stock cooler noise became even more irritating. I researched a few different coolers, most of which were in $40-50 range but had a little more noise levels. Since I wanted a very quiet one, I decided to go for Noctau brand based on reviews I had read an a few different websites. I selected Noctua NH-U12S SE-AM4 primarily because it is meant for AM4 processors.. This is a BIG cooler, so I looked up for compatibility with my hardware. Even though my motherboard (Gigabyte B550 Aorus Elite) did not show up on the list, I measured the space required for the cooler and found it could easily fit.
