I love this product and just bought my second one! I purchased in January 2021 and it JUST gave out April 2022 - lasted sooo long and kept our fridge smelling like nothing which is great. I prefer this as it takes away any smell in my opinion - rather than diluting odor with some pretty, fluffy scent. This was so effective and Im excited for my next one to arrive! Super impressed with how long my first one lasted. Highly recommend.

    Greater than one week

TLDR: Believe the reviews! The year old odor in my fridge was completely gone in less than 24 hours and has not returned—it’s been about 2 weeks. It says it lasts 6 months. 100% worth it! Long version: I bought this as a last resort because I’ve been struggling with a weird fridge & freezer odor for about a year despite multiple deep cleanings with multiple products (bleach, Lysol, Dawn Powerwash, etc) and natural things like vinegar including leaving multiple boxes of baking soda in both the fridge and freezer. My fridge was spotless but it smelled weird and I felt like it seeped into my food sometimes. I’ve thrown food out because I thought it smelled like the odor. So gross and embarrassing too. This product cleared it right up! I put it in a night and when I checked in the morning the odor was reduced significantly. By that afternoon, it was gone and not a hint of it has returned. I put one in the fridge and another in the freezer. If you’re on the fence, get this product! If you’ve read this far it’s because you’re desperate for something to work, like I was. It’s worth every hard earned dollar!

We moved a couple of months back and noticed right away that the fridge in our new house had a bit of an odor to it. We figured a good cleaning would take care of it. After a couple of thorough cleanings in the first month of living in the house, we hadnt gained any ground on the smell. We tried boxes of baking soda, DampRid, and activated charcoal. As a last resort, I spent four hours disassembling the inside of the refrigerator (see pictures) in an attempt to do a deep clean. I removed foam pieces and soaked and scrubbed them in the bathtub. I removed gaskets that seemed to be especially smelly and replaced them with trim intended for sealing exterior doors. I was very frustrated the next day when the fridge odor was obviously still present. I then stumbled upon the NonScents Refrigerator Deodorizer product and thought Id give it a whirl. I didnt notice any improvement a couple of hours after installing it after work one night. The next morning I thought the fridge smelled better, but also thought that I could be imagining that. Later that night, I was convinced that it was really working. The smell continued to dissipate over a couple of days and was completely undetectable to my wife and I after about 5 days! One review that I had read on this product mentioned a chlorine smell being imparted to nearby food. We have not noticed this at all. Upon opening the package initially, I did notice a bit of a chlorine smell, but that was it. I do not smell anything chlorine-y in the fridge. Id highly recommend this product.

    O. M. G... My fridge doesnt smell anymore. Well, I had bought fridge full of veggies because of the national emergency recommendation to stay home for to this coronavirus pandemic. Im an Asian and I love smelly veggies, to be honest, such as garlics, leeks, daikons, cabbages, onions...all veggies with strong smells and taste. The bad thing is that I live alone and it takes a while to consume those smelly veggies in my fridge... I started noticing that everytime I opened the fridge, the overwhelming odor spread allover and filled my kitchen and entire house like virus attack... I had to do something about it immediately. I couldnt go outside or leave my doors open because of the virus, but I would have been killed by this stinky odor if I stayed home. I didnt have time... Thank Amazon prime for such a quick delivery... I received this product this afternoon, like 4 pm, and it is 10 pm now, and I am alive!! The odor is gone!!! It had a faint smell of chlorine when I opened the bag, but it was a guarantee smell that it would work. And it did. So quickly!! It should last for 6 months, too! Im so impressed!! Thank you for saving my life and house!!! The only thing... One thing... I wish it had a suction cup or something that stick to the top inner wall of the fridge... Just a suggestion for a design improvement. But it sure does its job!

these work well for us, keeping one in the freezer and one in the refrigerator. it was obvious when they stopped working, after exactly three months suddenly the refrigerator/freezer stale odors returned. replaced with new ones and the odors quickly disappeared again. dropping one star because it would be nice if they were effective for six months instead of just three

I am so glad I found these deodorizers. They are heavy duty, long lasting, and the fully enclosed packaging means there’s no risk of spilled baking soda in your fridge. I use them for about six months and then replace. They do an amazing job controlling odors!

I have a fridge in the garage that I keep both food and fishing bait in. I live in cold weather and in the winter the freezer doesnt work because there is only one temperature sensor. I usually throw out the bait before the cold weather but two years ago I forgot to. I had menhaden and squid go bad in the fridge. I washed it out twice and tried baking soda and it wouldnt touch the fish smell. I power washed the entire fridge and it still smelled. I bought these Odor eliminators and they worked! I couldnt believe it after cleaning and power washing you could still smell the fish on a beer bottle that you pulled out of the fridge but these little things solved it! Cant say enough. BTW I have had them in for about 8 months now and they are still working so this is not a short term fix.
