The little rubber strap holder things broke. Found some that were $6-8 for a pack of them. Found a whole new band in multiple colors. Picked what I would call a slate blue. Got here in decent time before my trip. Easy swap with the included torq head screw drivers. Feels like an OEM Garmin strap. Even if it breaks, it was $14. Very happy with the new band. Would buy over again, without hesitation.

I did quite a bit of research before I bought these bands for my Fenix 3 HR. I dd not receive any compensation for this review or receive this product at any discount. I really like these bands. I have had them about a week now, and so far, I am am very satisfied. - They are considerably softer than the original band. This actually make fitment much easier, and when involved in activities, I can cinch it down tighter than the original and it is still comfortable. I find it far more comfortable than the original, and easier to put on. - The quick connect is easy to manipulate and seems to be secure. This is a big plus from the screw on only original. I have seen video of someone snapping one off, but in my everyday use, this has yet to happen even once (and I am not very gentle with watches). - The metal clasp is smaller than the original, but yet very effective. - These use 2 keepers to hold the excess band in place. The one closest to the buckle does not have the inner tab and wanders between the clasp and the outer keeper that does have an inner tab. The outer keeper stays in place perfectly, so I really dont concern myself with the inner one. - The metal clasp is secured with a shaft and screw rather than a snap pin as this products competitors use. I believe this system is considerably more effective. - The three colors are red, black, and green. All three colors work well with the watch. - The manufacturer thoughtfully included 2 screwdrivers in EACH package so you do not have to dig them out of another package if you want to install a screw type band or take one off. At the moment I do not have a single negative comment about the product. I will update both after a longer usage period, or if anything malfunctions.

Searched for a replacement as the original is showing it’s wear. To replace with an actual Garmin it would cost me over $45. Saw the reviews on this and for $14, it is a great price. Side by side, can’t tell the difference. Now it feels like I have a brand new Fenix 5x.

I almost bought the $50 Garmin band as the original held up so well - 3 years on my Fenix 5X sapphire. Thinking that was a ridiculous price I bought this one and honestly, I cannot tell the difference from the original - same markings, etc. Glad I purchased this one!

Ive now worn this for several months and can confidently say its as comfortable, durable and functions as well as the original. In fact, it may actually be better. Really the only noticeable difference in construction is the size of the clamp that snaps onto the watch. Its smaller but functions equally as well. My original Garmin strap and the strap keeps didnt hold up (one year before it broke). The keeps kept breaking and the texture of the strap wore off. Finally it snapped. I dont see any signs of that on this strap. As far as others complaining about it randomly detaching...my guess is it was never snapped on to the watch correctly. I double checked and then on occasion yank, twist, pull and its always fine. This was a perfect replacement for my Garmin Tactix Charlie.

No problems with product. It appears to be good quality.

Hoped these would be better but I dont even change the bands that often. Less than three months and the band where the blue portion wraps around the rod of the watch is half broken. Only a matter of time before the other side goes. Very comfy replacement otherwise

I walk, run, crawl the southern Texas border with my Garmin Fenix 5. I wanted something with a bit less contrast to my uniform, and the color of these bands did not disappoint. The material quality also feels superior to the factory Garmin wrist bands that are supplied with the watch out of the box. This was surprising due to the price. It’s a bit too early to determine durability, I’ve spent well over a year with the factory bands, and summer is coming so we’ll see how these hold up.
