Accurate color on the band, comfortable like the official band. The provided screwdriver was worthless and broke on the screws, luckily had one on hand. Gives my old beat-up Garmin watch a fresh look.

Super easy to switch out and has held up for several months

I got this strap for my Dad, which was the perfect replacement for his watch. He is so happy since he uses it daily since I got it for him. Thank you for making it easy for me to help his health and happiness. :)

The Good: Lots of color choices, rubber is well textured, comes with screws and screwdriver, a lot cheaper than the official Garmin replacement band. The Bad: Clearly this is an inferior product compared to the original and lots of small corners are cut, but nothing thats a deal breaker. The socket that attaches to the main watch body does not have nearly as snug a fit -- with my original band, the band would stay in place even with the screws removed due to the precision tolerances in the sockets. This replacement bands socket is much looser and just looking inside, looks a bit rougher, though once it is screwed in, it feels very secure. Also the edge of the new watch band is a bit rougher. I havent noticed it whole wearing it, and its not uncomfortable, but its noticeable if you look for it. If you look at the photos for this review, you can kind of see the blue band (the replacement) has a bit of a lip on the edge as described, while the original does not. The clasp feels a little bit lighter and flimsier, but still sturdy enough for heavy use. Basically, its still seems like a durable and functional replacement, but also a step down (both in price and quality) from the original. Also, not a good or bad thing necessarily, but be aware the strap is a bit longer than the original.

I had a hard time installing the band on the watch. It seemed simple just to line up the band to the watch and screw in the tiny screws, well it was not like that. I finally realized after an hour there was a lip on the band that snaps into the watch then I was able to screw in the tiny screws. If I have to replace the band again, I know what to do. Maybe the instructions can say snap in the band, then screw.

I received my garmin as a gift from my husband and it only came with a black strap. I would have preferred a different color strap. I found this online and liked the pink color. The strap was easy to put on and a happy wife is a happy life. It comes in a lot of other colors also.

Used it while it was working

Worked great. We first installed the watch bands on upside down and it was a bit difficult to remove & correct, but we managed. When put on correctly, watch band works as expected - no complaints!

I recommend this replacement strap. I had difficult doing the replacement because the amazon website for the strap was confusing. My watch had a white metal strap interface in place when the strap fell off. The instructions say that the white part has to be removed, which is correct, but they do not say how to remove it. It turns out that the white part can be pivoted and snapped out. This was revealed in the Garmin video that describes how to install a new band. Before watching that video I had difficulty trying to remove the white part. A few more words on the website would have made the installation easy.
