I’d easily give this a 5 but the screwdriver that came with it is of such soft metal that it stripped before I got any screws out to replace the old band. Could be mostly my fault as there was dirt in the screw heads and I didn’t brush it out before using the provided screw driver. All was not lost however as I was able to use a flat head screw driver from an eyeglass kit and it removed all the screws just fine. The pix shows the stripped screwdriver at top, after I filed it down to a point to use as an awl. The flat head just below is what I actually used for the screws. You can see where it will lock in the hex pattern of the screw heads. Many folks probably never had my temporary problem but it’s worth a heads up.

Easy to install; fit just right

The watch band was incredibly easy to install. The white part from my previous band was stuck to my watch, thanks to a previous haphazard attempt to fix it with gorilla glue, but I was able to get it off and get the new one on in less than 10 min. Package came with all of the screws and a screw driver, exactly like the Garmin branded replacement does. I saved those screws and reused my old ones. The band is a bit longer than the Garmin replacement and has two loops to hold the excess band (as opposed to one on the Garmin branded). The band appears to be the same quality as the Garmin one, although time will tell as I tend to be hard on these. Overall, quite satisfied and would buy again.

This and another in white both exceeded my expectations! When my Garmin band broke I expected it to be troublesome to replace. I was wrong! This installation is 5min thanks to the included screwdriver that fits perfectly. This watch will last for many more years now that I’m able to change the band! A happy little simple purchase just like the original quality.

The band was shipped quickly and accurate. What I like is the double little bands that keep the strap from flopping around. This is perfect! The original band only comes with one and that is what broke on the original watch band. Comes with torx driver and extra screws. You may need a higher end torx drive just in case the screws are stripped. The torx driver provided is a bit softer tip and one of my screws was stripped. I had to remove last screw with needle nose pliers. Other than that the band is Perfect. The Band gets 5 stars and the tool 4 stars. But, it is great a tool is being provided.

The mini screwdriver included in the package broke after replacing the first strap so be prepared with your own tools as a backup to complete installation. Otherwise it looks great so far!

So glad I purchased this watch band. I shouldve done it a long time ago. Will definitely be buying more colors! It was very easy to change out too!
