> 3 dayI sprinkle this on my cat and dogs food to boost their immune system. Way cheaper than the stuff advertised for pets. Its good to keep some silicone packets in there to keep it dry or it will get hard and chunky.

> 3 dayI have used Now lysine powder for many years and it tasted horrible. I purchased this one because Now wasn’t in stock. This brand has a much better taste, which is really no taste at all. I’m glad I tried this product and will continue with this brand from now on. I use it as a daily maintenance treatment to help keep cold sores at bay. I usually take 500mg a day but will take a little more if I have a high arginine meal or take 2-3000 mg if I have an outbreak.

> 3 dayI originally ordered the pet L-lysine for my dog who had warts, but it was expensive, $20 for 120 grams. This is a much better deal and I can use it too. I started taking it for shingles, drop a scoop in a glass of water. Mixes well and no taste. Im using 3 scoops a day (divided) and my dog gets 1.5 scoops along with thuja for his warts. For reference, he is 110 lbs.

> 3 dayI use lysine to keep my hsv in check and to help with acne. I’m so glad there’s a powder form. I’ve been taking the big horse pills and some days I just can’t manage to get them down. It’s not tasteless but it’s better than the pills. Mine didn’t come with a scoop like it said it did so I had to look on the questions on here to see how much to use. I ended up using a little medicine cup from my daughters cough medicine. I fill it up to the 2.5 ml line, so half of 5ml.

> 3 dayThis works a lot better than the last lysine product I had, dont remember that ones name, but this is for a year old cat who has feline herpes and a watery eye. The eye is dry, the liquid from her eye is now more like a light crust around it but at least it isnt watery which looked uncomfortable and never went away until now. Happy, will continue to purchase. Herpes is incurable.

> 3 dayIve been buying this product for a few years to use as a supplement for my cats. It was the consistency of sugar or salt and was easy to sprinkle on their food. Now theyve made it the same texture as flour or cornstarch and is impossible to sprinkle evenly on wet food. So totally USELESS. I feel like throwing the whole 2.2 lbs of it in the trash. SO VERY DISAPOINTING AND WASTE OF MONEY.

> 3 dayNo taste or after taste are all for my family. Love that it is a little scoop for the serving size. Fantastic that it is powder so that my kids can benefit from this too.

> 3 dayI find this great value for money but be aware that this formula has larger grains than most do. It is more crushed looking, than powdered. I added a photo but it doesn’t capture it particularly well. I use this as a supplement for rescue/stray cats to boost their immune system (I mix it into their diet). This formula is so large and heavy that if mixed into kibble, it sinks to the bottom of the dish like salt would. Other formulas I have found are significantly lighter and finer. If you were trying to dissolve this, you might run into issues. As an additional note: my vet believes it is completely useless as an immune system booster. I hold onto hope.
