> 24 hourThese Factory Pilot gloves are commonly referred to as the civilian version of the SI Assault gloves on the internet however the pair I received are nothing close to the quality of the SI gloves I owned. My SI gloves lasted 5-6 years without any holes or ripped seams but these gloves barely stood up to a couple months of light use. I originally planned on keeping these stashed away in an emergency tool kit in my truck but my SI gloves disappeared so these were forced into service after being tucked away for 6-7 months. Initially, I noticed an irritating spot on my wrist where the piping and a couple of panels met and were folded under at the glove opening. It was a bunched up wad that didnt lay flat and caused a hot spot on my wrist when the gloves were strapped closed. I cut away as much of the bunched materials as I could without damaging the seams threads and made the glove useable. Maybe it just slipped through quality assurance but in my experience, Oakley doesnt let mistakes like that through to the customer. Maybe that was just an honest mistake but the quality of these gloves is disappointing. With light use, and only occasional wear, these gloves only lasted me a few months of light use. Cleaning up branches from storm damage, running a weed eater, loading/unloading lumber and light home maintenance tasks. Id certainly expect these to last longer that $10 big box store gloves but as the pics show, these gloves came apart fast. Im not sure these are actually Oakley brand. The tags and markings appear authentic but the quality makes me wonder. Ive heard rumors of counterfeit products getting mixed in with authentic items at Amazon and it wouldnt surprise me if that is the case with these gloves. If I didnt have these gloves stashed away for 6+ months first, I would have returned them at the first sign of significant damage/wear. Maybe Im wrong about these being counterfeit, but Im going to try another pair direct from Oakley if possible and compare experiences. Caveat emptor.

> 24 hourFortunately I did not post this review until after I had owned the gloves for a couple of months. I received them on March 11th, 2019. Yesterday was June 24th, 2019. As you can see in the picture I’ve attached, the palm has begun to tear on the bottom right hand side. I use these solely as motorcycle riding gloves. They’ve never been used for work and they’ve never gotten wet. All I’m doing is operating the clutch on my motorcycle. No more, no less. And they’ve started to tear. These are not cheap gloves and I love other Oakley products. They’re sunglasses last me years on one pair. But they’re gloves are garbage. I will not be buying them ever again. These were WAY WAY to expensive to have them fail after less than 4 months!!!! Buyer beware!!!! Edit: on the afternoon after I wrote this review, I ran into a thunderstorm on my motorcycle. The gloves got good and wet. When I got home and took them off, my palms were black as night. I’m not making any of this review up. All of this is the absolute truth. These are terrible gloves.

> 24 hourWebbing between index finger and thumb ripping from stitching only had them for a few weeks.. barely used , have older pair that did the same thing so I got these gloves to replace them.. just disappointed , because you would think youd be getting a great pair of gloves that last longer than a few weeks for the price.. $75... Update: after making this review I purchased another pair and made a discovery!!! Ive bought and used these gloves since 2016 owned around five pairs of these during that time and have only now just noticed that unfortunately its the luck of the draw in quality of material when buying another pair of these gloves!! If both removable and non-removable tags say made in Vietnam you have the good pair!! Only my very first pair and my very last pair that I just bought had/has made in Vietnam on the tag!! To further clarify the picture of a tear in webbing of glove , are the previous pair that do not say made in Vietnam on the tag!!!

> 24 hourShipping was crazy fast. However, had these for less than a few hours. Wore them while watching a movie. Opening and closing my hands to break them in during the film and the synthetic leather palm on the left glove ripped at the thumb webbing. Punched my body opponent bag with the right one after, and the carbon knuckles bruised my actual knuckles. Big dollars for a lousy product.

> 24 hourNot sure it is original genuine Oakley product. Flaw design compared with another old pair.

> 24 hourGloves look sweet and everything I used them for riding my motorcycle for a few months and they started fraying but Oakley wouldnt replace them unless I sent the pair in first which would leave me with no gloves.
