Occidental is absolutely the best, in my opinion. I have been working in the trades for over 30 years and have worn Occidental bags for 17 of those years. Still extremely well made in Sonoma county; excellent quality. My only gripe is that I liked the old layout of having the tape holder on the FRONT of the large pouch. This layout is great for some applications, but I very much prefer the old layout, myself. I wont ding these a star for that, but I had to add a clip-on tape holder to the front of the large pouch to get the setup I want. Occidental: PLEASE, offer the old layout as an option again. Ill even pay a premium for it!

Excellent craftsmanship. Nice deep pocket with a wide rim making it easy to access anything in it. Meets all expectations.

As a union carpenter this is the best tool bag Ive had so far. Ive had this for 6 months and I would have already went through two bags from Home Depot or Lowes in the same time. They get snagged on everything from rebar tie wire to scissor lifts and they never rip or tear, oftentimes Ill be worried that I rip them and look down and to my surprise they are perfectly fine. They are a little heavier than bags from Home Depot or Lowes but they are balanced better so they feel lighter. The layout for all your tools are perfect, the only problem Ive had is the speed square will fall out a couple times a day but not everybody that has these bags has that situation. The pockets are deeper than they look and holds plenty of nails. I also love that they are made in America.

Honestly, this is well built and seems like it will hold up to the beating Ill continue to give it. The huge pocket with the square pocket attached to it can hold so much crap I can go most of the day without needing to refill it (commercial electrician, I need a lot of different material in decent quantity to function in my day) and the three smaller pockets are great for different fasteners that I may be carrying. The small pocket on the front of the bag is even large enough to fit my Klein Allen wrench set, so all in all it is a sweet pouch. If youre an electrician wanting to carry a bit more to stay productive, get this pouch!

bags came with ripped seam... seller replaced, but returning their garbage was a royal pain.

Best set of bags Ive ever had Ive been in the trade 25 years i really like the fact I can easily fit a drill or impact in them and head up the ladder or climb the forms with no fear of it falling out

Its a nice bag but for being touted fat lip I find the pocket for the tape measure and the two front pockets are a bit small. I have a 25 foot tape measure and it just fits and once in it is difficult to get it back out. If I was using a 30-40 foot tape it would not fit in the pocket. I live in the Catskill mountain region of New York and when wearing gloves in winter it is difficult getting things out of the smaller pockets. I have another brand pouch that did not cost me nearly as much that works better!
