I needed to update and maintain a resume on my personal computer that I can send to potential employers. Having become recently unemployed, I no longer have access to my companys MS office suite and therefore, I do not have MS Word. I chose Open Office for its reasonable cost but I am also pleasantly surprised at how similar it is to MS Word. It was simple to install according to the instructions that were provided to me by the seller. I would recommend this product if you want to save yourself hundreds of dollars!

One of the things I loved in the wordprocessing software was the large variety of colors available in the highlighting tool. It had as many colors as the shading tool and the text color tool. Lovely! However, perhaps due to the density of materials included in the documents, the software crashed several times, and ultimately I loaded MSWord. It never crashes. At least not in recent versions, though it too has its own limitations.

Just received bu UPS today, Dont know enough about it yet to review. It loaded easily.

Cant beat it for using Microsoft Office files. I am amazed that it even has a database program. Thanks for offering this superb product!

price is great and works well

Get it all done in one sitting. No matter what your doing you cant add to it the next time you open it. I was making a list in the excel sheet. Did not finish the list. Went back the nest day to work on in. COULD NOT OPEN IT. I could look at the work I did the day before, but could not add to it. Had to start all over. Day three, same damn thing. The disk is now in the workshop as martial for future projects. Some times I need a small mirror. Get Corel Office. Not perfect but very usable. Has excel and word only. For me thats all I really need.

It said that I didnt need a product key but when I down loaded it and set up a couple of spread sheets it wouldnt let me update. Said I had to update clicked up date said renew with Microsoft dont understand. This sucks.

I purchase the recomended dvds (3) DISK. UNFORTUNATELY. The three version is practically the same thing. Once you install the first disk, everything works. Your install the second version, an it wants to (the computer) removed the previous version that was installed. Wasted over $25 to get the same Open office as the original.
