> 24 hourThese smart wall plugs are fantastic. They are very easy to install and work reliably. Probably the feature I like the most is that it works with the smart life app because the last set of smart plugs I purchased stopped working after the proprietary app stopped working. Pros: - Easy setup - Compatible with smart life app - Reliable - Easy to use - Very responsive Cons: - Bulky - Not on the cheaper side Overall I would recommend these if you are looking for some entry level smart plugs; these have worked very well for me so far and have had no problem setting them up and using them reliably.

> 24 hourI was able to add these plugs in EZ mode using Smart Life without any problems. I didnt even have to break my mesh network into separate SSIDs to ensure it negotiated for the 2.4ghz connection. That feat shouldnt be amazing but over the past year this is the third set of supposedly standards compliant smart plugs Ive worked with and these actually connected and didnt waste my time downloading and learning a new app, troubleshooting through all the hoops to troubleshoot, breaking my mesh network, and generally being inconvenienced only to find they still wont connect. These gosund smart plugs just worked. Outstanding! The flat top, though initially a space consuming drawback, is also nice as I can rest my phone on top while it pairs with my wifi and smart home environment. Thank you gosund!

> 24 hourI was sick for a long time and finally got around to installing these, upon opening them up, I noticed there are no instructions to connect or how to connect to your Google or Alexa. I’m disappointed, a waste of money.

> 24 hourThe smart plugs from OHMAX (or OHMAXX, depending on what part of the product page youre on) are actually Gosund-branded plugs. Thats a pretty big piece of information to leave off the page, especially since you will need to download the Gosund app (not the SmartLife app as the page states) to integrate these with your existing smart home setup. I found the Privacy Policy and End-User License Agreement to be overly dense, but overall seem pretty standard. It is worth point out that by agreeing to the terms you agree that any disputes will be adjudicated in a specific Chinese courtroom; I mean that literally, as in a specific room number in a specific court building at a specific address in Shenzhen, China. I dont anticipate ever having to end up in that situation but the sheer specificity of it stood out to me. They are very reasonably priced between $22-$28 for a pack of four depending on when you catch it, which means youre paying about $8-$9 for each plug. At that price point, as long as they work, theyre worth the price of admission, which is a big part of my rating. I had to reset the plug several times while trying to get my Alexa to talk to it, but eventually I got them together, and theyve worked wonderfully since.

> 24 hour1st. I couldnt get the app to work that the directions said to use. I ended up using the Smart Life app. 2nd. Make sure your phone is also on the 2.5Gh frequency as the plug. Now do your install and poof its up and running. Alexa found it as soon as it was installed in Smart Life. So other than the directions having me try and use an app that didnt work these are OK plugs so far. They also are designed where they dont take up the whole outlet. So you can put two in an outlet. All in all they are good just remember to use the Smart Life app and you will save some time.

> 24 hourI had a great deal of difficulty getting into the app. It wanted me to sign up through various methods, and the Sign up using Apple ID would just sit and spin without any result or error. I finally had to sign up through email, and even that took a few tries to go through. After that, everything else was a breeze. This price for 4 outlet switches is very reasonable. I also like that you can set timers to be on and/or off, and the app does not have to be open for the timers to go off when they are scheduled. It looks like there are some automation setups that can be done as well, but havent explored those. Really handy for turning on lights or a small space heater.

> 24 hourI had to return it, as it didn’t work at all, maybe because it isn’t 5g compatible.

> 24 hourIve used all sorts off smart plugs, these were a deal and I bought them to use for various things such as laptops etc... 1st off, i cant get it to link up to alexa, the app is garbage and it is spamming me with all sorts of ADs such as deals on products. I want to throw these out, they are useless. I had them for over 30 days but decided to write about them since its been annoying me, to let people know that these arent good. TP-Link and etekcity were some of my favorite ones that I didnt have any problems with. Stay away from GOSUND it bad hardware.
