> 3 dayWe added these for our Christmas lights. Set up was easy and they work fine with Alexa and also the Smartlife ap. It was important to us to find smart plugs that would integrate with the Smartlife ap that we were already using. We can do scheduled on/off or control when away from the house through the ap. Highly recommend them.

> 3 daySo many of these smart home devices stop connecting when their company goes out of business or backend server dies. All 4 required alternate pairing efforts. My entire home is smart enabled. Subtracted star because it took forever to get them paired w Wi-Fi. Like the plug design and all 4 eventually in operation. Replaced KASA plugs that failed to connect or stay connected

> 3 dayThese Wi-Fi plugs work with Smart Life app, and that’s the best part of it all. Smartlife has become a staple for me, I have over 20 plugs, and it keeps all of them organized, including my cameras too. Very easy to set up, they are in install mode as soon as plugged in.

> 3 dayIve used all sorts off smart plugs, these were a deal and I bought them to use for various things such as laptops etc... 1st off, i cant get it to link up to alexa, the app is garbage and it is spamming me with all sorts of ADs such as deals on products. I want to throw these out, they are useless. I had them for over 30 days but decided to write about them since its been annoying me, to let people know that these arent good. TP-Link and etekcity were some of my favorite ones that I didnt have any problems with. Stay away from GOSUND it bad hardware.

> 3 dayI first tried an Amazon smart plug, was not good at all, when power was lost to it, it reverted to off, with these plugs, and the smartlife app, they revert to whatever they were set to last before power was lost, thats extremely important for some things.

> 3 dayI got these to control some items that plug in behind books on a bookshelf. I downloaded their app to get started, but I could never get the device to connect. However, it is a Smart Life device, so I thought I would try their app. It already controls a few lights in the house, so it is more convenient for me to use that app anyway. With Smart Life, it does recommend switching the router from 5G to 2.4G (same as their native app). My router is supposed to switch, so I skipped this step. It had me change the wifi from my default router to the Smart Life Wifi and just a few clicks later, I was up and running. To add to Alexa, I also used the Smart Life option. It is now controllable by voice. The Smart Life app also has a toggle button to turn it on and off and the unit itself has a physical button. The app also works with timers and you can have it send a notification when the timer routine has been executed. I didnt find the routine to be perfectly synced with the phones clock, though. It took anywhere from a ten seconds to 40 seconds for the routine to complete. Not a big deal if you are setting it to turn on lights when you arent home or that kind thing. All in all, I am very pleased with these. They work great with Alexa or the Smart life app, which is exactly why I wanted them.

> 3 dayI was able to add these plugs in EZ mode using Smart Life without any problems. I didnt even have to break my mesh network into separate SSIDs to ensure it negotiated for the 2.4ghz connection. That feat shouldnt be amazing but over the past year this is the third set of supposedly standards compliant smart plugs Ive worked with and these actually connected and didnt waste my time downloading and learning a new app, troubleshooting through all the hoops to troubleshoot, breaking my mesh network, and generally being inconvenienced only to find they still wont connect. These gosund smart plugs just worked. Outstanding! The flat top, though initially a space consuming drawback, is also nice as I can rest my phone on top while it pairs with my wifi and smart home environment. Thank you gosund!

> 3 dayThe product will only function on 2.5 ghz WI-FI. Most homes (myself included) with new equipment will have 5 ghz WI-FI rendering the product useless. They do provide directions on how to “split bands” on your router to create two separate WI-FI networks in your home, one at 5ghz and one at 2.5 GHz. However, this is not recommended by my service provider (Xfinity) and resulted in massive performance issues to the point where I had to reverse the settings back to normal in order to have a connection good enough for work. Don’t buy this product if you have standard 5 GHz WI-FI.

> 3 daySetting these up was really easy and they integrate with Alexa pretty seamlessly. Its nice to be able to control things remotely around the house while away.

Greater than one weekI had to return it, as it didn’t work at all, maybe because it isn’t 5g compatible.
