> 24 hourThe product will only function on 2.5 ghz WI-FI. Most homes (myself included) with new equipment will have 5 ghz WI-FI rendering the product useless. They do provide directions on how to “split bands” on your router to create two separate WI-FI networks in your home, one at 5ghz and one at 2.5 GHz. However, this is not recommended by my service provider (Xfinity) and resulted in massive performance issues to the point where I had to reverse the settings back to normal in order to have a connection good enough for work. Don’t buy this product if you have standard 5 GHz WI-FI.

> 24 hourI got these to control some items that plug in behind books on a bookshelf. I downloaded their app to get started, but I could never get the device to connect. However, it is a Smart Life device, so I thought I would try their app. It already controls a few lights in the house, so it is more convenient for me to use that app anyway. With Smart Life, it does recommend switching the router from 5G to 2.4G (same as their native app). My router is supposed to switch, so I skipped this step. It had me change the wifi from my default router to the Smart Life Wifi and just a few clicks later, I was up and running. To add to Alexa, I also used the Smart Life option. It is now controllable by voice. The Smart Life app also has a toggle button to turn it on and off and the unit itself has a physical button. The app also works with timers and you can have it send a notification when the timer routine has been executed. I didnt find the routine to be perfectly synced with the phones clock, though. It took anywhere from a ten seconds to 40 seconds for the routine to complete. Not a big deal if you are setting it to turn on lights when you arent home or that kind thing. All in all, I am very pleased with these. They work great with Alexa or the Smart life app, which is exactly why I wanted them.

> 24 hourThis were easy to set up with my Alexia app and has its own app. Control is symbols and works great. These are perfect for setting up on a schedule especially if you are on vacation. Definitely recommend.

> 24 hourThe smart plugs from OHMAX (or OHMAXX, depending on what part of the product page youre on) are actually Gosund-branded plugs. Thats a pretty big piece of information to leave off the page, especially since you will need to download the Gosund app (not the SmartLife app as the page states) to integrate these with your existing smart home setup. I found the Privacy Policy and End-User License Agreement to be overly dense, but overall seem pretty standard. It is worth point out that by agreeing to the terms you agree that any disputes will be adjudicated in a specific Chinese courtroom; I mean that literally, as in a specific room number in a specific court building at a specific address in Shenzhen, China. I dont anticipate ever having to end up in that situation but the sheer specificity of it stood out to me. They are very reasonably priced between $22-$28 for a pack of four depending on when you catch it, which means youre paying about $8-$9 for each plug. At that price point, as long as they work, theyre worth the price of admission, which is a big part of my rating. I had to reset the plug several times while trying to get my Alexa to talk to it, but eventually I got them together, and theyve worked wonderfully since.

> 24 hourMine are branded Gosund (which is ok, I have a bunch of other Gosund branded ones - so, seems like they should be solid as those). Alexa integration is easy with Smartlife. Only thing to point out is that these are NOT compatible with the SmartLife integration with Samsung Smartthings. While SmartThings can integrate with SmartLife; only certain devices have something that allows SmartThings to see them. These dont have that. Seller doesnt advertise otherwise, but I find it helpful to point out for other buyers, since this isnt something thats always specified. (Ive found some devices that DO work with SmartThings/SmartLife, and werent advertised as such).

> 24 hourI used this to remotely power on my fan in the garage. I will be using this throughout the house when Im on vacation. Youll need wireless in your house to use this product. The price is decent.

> 24 hourI was nervous to use these -- our dog passed away a month ago and we no longer need a dog sitter. WHO will turn my lights off and on while we are traveling?? I found these smart plugs on Amazon and they are so EASY to use even for a 67 year-old! I have set up 6 smart plugs and haso far and have been testing them before we leave on a trip. They work beautifully. I downloaded the app Smart Life on my iphone and it walks you though how to hook them up. Easy-Peasy. I highly recommend.
