I have had many utility knives with break away blades. This is the best one I have so far. It has a heft, no doube because of the metal body, that makes it feel solid and feel good. I used it a few times and so far so good.

Great for opening boxes, mail, cutting down boxes and light crafts projects, especially cutting foam. Obviously not for serious cutting and projects. Just be sure to buy extra blades as they wear out relatively fast, but the blades are super cheap and very easy to switch out.

Great product, well made and uses standard blades. Box cutters like these seemed to have disappeared from the big home improvement stores.

Bought one a few months back and was devastated to have lost it. You can’t beat the price and efficiency of this box cutter. With working so much, I don’t have a lot of time to get products in store so most of my purchases are online. Cardboard ends up taking a lot of space in the recycling bin, so having this handy blade really clears out on the constant influx of cardboard!

This is my favorite style of knife for general use. I used the cheap generic ones for years, then some name brand ones. If youre just cutting packing tape they all do the job, but I feel this is worth the upgrade if you do more strenuous work. This knife is my top pick of any Ive tried. Nice grip, sturdy, good blade lock, and seems to stay sharp longer.

This knife has a good feel to it; very sharp. The auto locking feature seems to allow the blade to still slide too easily perhaps; almost like theres no locking at all. I need more experience with it, but so far so good.
