OLFA 9mm Precision Utility Knife (XA-1) - Multi-Purpose Retractable Precision Knife w/ Fiberglass Reinforced Handle & Snap-Off Blade

I have nothing negative to say. This knife is practically perfect in every way. I believe this is the smallest blade that OLFA offers. But there is no downside from what I can tell. The blade does not accidentaly break away. But when you want to break away a dull portion its a snap! (See what I did there? Snap...Breakaway? Oh God, Ive turned into a dad joke maker). Handle is comfortable even for extended usage. But what sets this apart is the sharpness of the blade. It is so sharp its like... I cant seem to come up with a dad joke here. But it is really, really, really sharp!

We love these for opening boxes and have them everywhere in the house. Easy to hold, easy to find, and easy to break off the end of the blade when it becomes dull.

I love this knife for all the little small jobs I do around the house. Wish I had it when I was working retail. This knife is sturdy, works with ease & all around a little gem. It is well worth the extra I paid for it comparing it to the ones you buy at retail stores. Strongly recommend this item.

This is a great tool to have around. The blade extension mechanism is really smooth. Cuts through cardboard very easily. Im really glad I got this!

It is incredibly sharp, comfortable, and works great. I have never had a knife this sharp...it is kind of freaky because of its size. I was able to cut the lid of a five gallon bucket in half without sawing back and forth; it just slid right down like butter. Because of the thinness and sharpness it is very precise. I use it routinely to make lateral incisions in PVC flextube. If there was any jagging, it would ruin the tube, but I can always count on this knife for big difficult tasks as well as small precise ones. The auto locking mechanism works well and the blade stays sharp for a long time. Replacement blades arent too expensive.

I seen a lot of positive reviews for this, so I ordered it. When I got it. The item was broken. The blade wont extract so I removed the blade holder to find that the thing that extracts the blade is broken. So it had a broken handle/extract or whatever you call it. Im returning the item back to get a new replacement. Hopefully that bot cutter is better than the one I received..
