OLFA 9mm Precision Utility Knife (XA-1) - Multi-Purpose Retractable Precision Knife w/ Fiberglass Reinforced Handle & Snap-Off Blade

Let me just begin by saying I have always been a HUGE fan of Olfa products and this Utility Knife did not disappoint me! It has a nice sturdy feel to it and is (in my opinion) very ergonomically designed. Ive ordered a total of 3 of these knives to keep around the house and 1 to keep in my car.

A cut above similar snap off knives

I have nothing negative to say. This knife is practically perfect in every way. I believe this is the smallest blade that OLFA offers. But there is no downside from what I can tell. The blade does not accidentaly break away. But when you want to break away a dull portion its a snap! (See what I did there? Snap...Breakaway? Oh God, Ive turned into a dad joke maker). Handle is comfortable even for extended usage. But what sets this apart is the sharpness of the blade. It is so sharp its like... I cant seem to come up with a dad joke here. But it is really, really, really sharp!

Bought one a few months back and was devastated to have lost it. You can’t beat the price and efficiency of this box cutter. With working so much, I don’t have a lot of time to get products in store so most of my purchases are online. Cardboard ends up taking a lot of space in the recycling bin, so having this handy blade really clears out on the constant influx of cardboard!

Started using Olfa products after my son received one in his architecture kit in college. Absolutely the best on the market. They make a variety of cutters (I own four) and Ive never found their equal. I threw the other brands away once I found Olfa. Precision and quality make this cutter top-notch! Highly recommend!
