This stand was a little bit pricy when I was making the purchase, but the quality justified the price. It is pretty sturdy and protective, my 16inch MacBook Pro is not touching the metal piece directly so I dont need to worry about any scratches. The stand can be adjusted in two ways, so I can adjust the height and the angle freely. I particularly like the notch design where I can still open the MBPs lid with one hand. In sum, it does the job. However, I would recommend you to use this with an extra keyboard/mouse set, because although this stand is sturdy, it is not 100% stable when you put your heavy laptop (lets say 15/16 inch MBP) on it and start typing.

Works great. I needed my screen at eye level and this is does the trick. My computer does bounce slightly when I type, but its still solidly held by the stand.

These are great stands, very well made, no assembly just unbox and set to the height you want. I like it enough to have bought a second one just to put my mouse on. After a spine injury its very hard to find a comfortable place to put hold my arms for any extended period and these work great to move higher and lower at will. Id buy again, already did!

I wanted a stand to raise my laptop. Was getting tired of sitting on the couch while I work from home. Bought a desk but wanted to raise my eye level. Not only does this get the job done it looks cool as $#@& as well. Well made and worth the money. Great stand.

Im using this laptop stand in conjunction with my stand up station. Unfortunately, my entire desk doesnt lift up. My stand up station is the kind that only holds the monitors, keyboard, and mouse. This leaves my laptop on a much lower level compared to my other things. Before I bought this stand, I was using a wooden box to elevate my laptop and docking station. Measures 9.5 deep X 9.25 wide X 1.5 tall (lowest setting) Here is what I like about the laptop stand 1. It is very sturdy. It is much better than the wooden box that I was using. The stand has rubber feet to prevent things from sliding around. 2. It is lightweight and has a small footprint. It doesnt take much room on my desk, but is large enough to hold my laptop with docking station. 3. Ability to customize the height and angle. This will allow you to customize exactly how you want your laptop.

PROS: The stand is made of metal and feels solid and sturdy. The top side of the platform has a grip surface to keep your laptop from sliding off of it, which is nice. It seems well constructed and has a nice look. CONS: Its somewhat difficult to move the various hinges to adjust the angle. It requires a decent amount of force. However, this is also a good thing because youre confident that the stand wont collapse and drop your laptop to the floor. OVERALL: A solid option as a laptop stand. This stand could hold more than just a laptop. It would hold an iPad, phone, sheet music, or could even double as a mini lectern for giving presentations.

Good quality, multiple height and angle settings. I would give it 5 stars if it was 2-3 inches wider.

Very sturdy and works great! Easy to adjust, but then stays in place! I love it!
