The design is nice but I would prefer a better way of locking the sliders. I would suggest like a fold-able wing nut instead of having to using a tool to tighten the screws. Other than that it works great and looks good on the desk.

ordered this the other day to attempt the laptop on desk standing up. i scanned through tons of options on amazon, finally settled here and i will say, dont even waste time looking elsewhere. just buy buy buy. great item, super sturdy, looks clean on my desk. I didnt even need to adjust for my laptop. (also very well packaged)

I bought this stand to clear some space on my desk and stand my laptop vertically upright when Im using it plugged into my widescreen monitor with a separate keyboard and mouse. The stand is heavy, good quality, and I dont worry about my laptop tipping over when it is in the stand. I would definitely buy it again!

This is a great stand. Easy to setup, adjustable and it does not slip.

Update: Ive had the stand since May 2019. For some reason, it has now started sticking to the MacBook. Full disclosure, Im a writer and my laptop is on 12 to 16 hours a day, so I dont know if this makes a difference. However, I like the stand so much that Im buying a second one!
