Purchased stand when I discovered some excess heat buildup on my laptop that is connected to a docking station as it was flat on my desk and remained closed as it was docked. Stand provides a way to ventilate the laptop and to provide additional space on my desk. I just ordered another one to use for my personal laptop! Very impressed with compact size, ability to adjust and stability!

Whenever I insert my 17 inch laptop it wobbles a bit. I think this product is best for small laptops.
