Worked great on some older bolts I needed for a project. Had to team the nuts also and both parts did the job. Using a little cutting oil makes it work better.

Tap handle was broken at first tapping. Garbage from China. Returned it back.

So since I received the set it’s been an up and down road with OMT and Amazon. First off as you can see in the pictures the item didn’t come in a box or package and all the tap and dies were scattered. I wrote OMT and they seemed to have owned up to it and even offered to refund me without a return so I accepted. All I wanted from the beginning was a replacement but now they won’t give me either. Really disappointing. Definitely best bang for your buck but the quality of the items are very poor. For small projects it gets the job done. This the first time I have an issue with OMT but this definitely does it for me. Not even Amazon will help me. Can’t say that this will happen to everyone but just be careful when ordering these sets cause you definitely get what you pay for. OMT lost a customer with me but who am I. No one to them.

I bought this set to thread straight rods. I have wasted hours trying to get the 1/4” die to thread a 1/4” rod. It simply does bot do the job it was intended for.

Arrive damaged. Pieces all over the place when open. Which was probably cause one of the pieces to break.

The part which is supposed to tighten and hold the bit in broke the first time I used it ...disappointed tbh ...use stronger material
