This product is awesome! I had the thin wire adapter for my Baofang radio and came apart because of use. There is no breaking with this one. Just get it for your mobile HT.

This adapter allows me to use my handheld wherever Im at, at home hooked up to my base, in my vehicle hooked to my mag mount or as a hand held with the rubber duck.

They do exactly what I wanted them for.

If you own a Baofeng or other Chinese built hand held rigs, this is the right way to connect it to a better antenna. I have had other adapters similar to this one, but this is a well made adapter and the quality is top notch. This is a very good product. 73 K5EWM.
