I needed an adapter to hook my HT to my antenna in my office and these work great!

Have been using these for nearly 6 months to attach my external antenna with a PL-259 connector to my Anytone 878UV or Baofeng radios. Always threads in well holds securely, and seems to work very well. Have had no complaints of a difference in sound quality/noise/etc vs a regular antenna without the adapter. Had to purchase more because they are sort of small and can get lost in the car if you happen to drop it.

Used the adapter to connect an outside antenna to my baofeng radio.Improved reception 10 fold.

I use to connect by Baofeng radios to mag-mount antennae and they work like a champ. So much better than the pig tails that came with the antennae.
