> 3 daySo far, I think the anode is probably fine but I dont know yet. It came with no instructions on how to install or anything else. They send a follow up with a video on how to do it which was pretty good but it was a week later. It would have been nice to have those instructions with it or at least something saying to that link to see how to do it. As a result, I now know I missed some steps that cost me quite a bit of time and made some things not work exactly right. For example it was very hard to get screwed in and I was not sure it was in all the way. I now know I should have brushed out and cleaned the threads of the heater tank. Knowing that ahead of time may have helped my problems. I have not been out in the rig and actually used the heater yet but I did refill the tank and it did not leak so hopefully it is in ok and will work. I think the product itself probably works, but it is too early to tell. Just put the instructions with the product, not send it a week later when you want an Amazon review.

> 3 dayFit our Suburban water heater. The old rod was completely gone so will need to replace annually instead of waiting longer even though we seldom use in our RV.

> 3 dayI change anode rods usually once a year depending on how often we camp. For the price why take a chance. Just go ahead and turn it into a part of your regular seasonal maintenance routine.

Greater than one weekExact replacement, install is always tricky with these due to the weight. But this I expected. Would recommend this for the price.

> 3 dayReplaced in about 15 minutes. Not sure if this will make the tank last longer. After 4 months, probably 80 percent of rod left.
