Greater than one weekThe original rod in the heater was less than the width of a pencil when I learned you had to replace them after owning the rv for three years. Second replacement after two years and very hard well water the rod was worn but not as bad so this time I bought a two-pack. Always good to have a spare. Not a difficult task, just messy! Recommend the product.
