Greater than one weekThis is a sturdy cover shield made out of a thick of ABS plastic. It has predrilled holes and comes with mounting screws and wall anchors for any installation. It has a gasket on the back to make a seal against whatever it is mounted on, to protect from rain and the elements. I wanted to use this for my security camera which is a small one but this cover was too large for my house fascia so I couldn’t use it for that. Just keep this in mind as this is a larger size.

Greater than one weekThis is very easy to install, just 2 screws. Works well with cameras pointed straight, but if they are on an angle they dont work too well.

Greater than one weekThe build quality is good, as this is a sturdy and thick plastic shield. It has rain diverting shape to it and a gasket to seal against whatever one mounts this to. When considering this, measure your cameras. This does not protrude enough to cover some of the cameras I use, but works perfectly for ball style cameras that dont have significant length from mount to lens. As for the quality of this item, I cant find fault with it at all.

Greater than one weekThis has a good, solid feel, and is suitable size for the camera Im using it for (RING, as pictured). The installation itself will be very easy (4 screws, provided, with anchors), however, I have slanted, vinyl siding on my home, so Ill have to use some wood to take up the space, and get longer screws.

> 3 daySeveral of my security cameras are mounted on a short tower in my backyard. With seemingly annual hail damage and +100F hot summer days, most inexpensive wifi PTZ or bullet-type cameras dont stand a chance. If you cant place your camera(s) under a soffit or porch, a sun-rain shield like this one is strongly recommended - even if the manufacturer doesnt state so. What I like about this shield: + It appears solidly constructed, made from a durable coated ABS material + Has a rubber embedded gasket on the back mounting flange to the keep elements out + Size is suitable to accommodate most bullet or PTZ cameras + Has a white outer shell for sun protection; black underside to help prevent reflection + The mounting hardware is included, and its simple to install Great product and price!

> 3 dayThis is a roomy weather shield that will protect anything from UV, rain, snow, hail, or anything else flying around. I use it to shield a “waterproof” L5-30R generator outlet, even though the outlet is stated to be waterproof. It readily mounts to any surface, (four screw points) against which its rubber gasket seals. It is made of a sturdy plastic but, in my case, it is not likely to be subject to abuse. For me, an inexpensive shield that adds to my peace of mind.

> 3 dayUnable to protect during strong downpour. This is something to consider when purchasing this device. Overall I think this product is worthless. Im considering replacing my outdoor cameras more suitable for the harsh winter weather. The product is sturdy and well made, the 3 ⭐⭐⭐ rating is because it didnt protect my camera during a rain downpour
