Greater than one weekI was a little concerned that this is just made of plastic, but it is quite thick while being lightweight as well. Very easy to install on my wood siding home. Youll need a bit more time to install on stucco, concrete, or metal. This cheap investment is protecting my one fully exposed and very expensive security camera. Well worth it. Extra benefit. It helps keep the rain off the camera lens for a better view in inclement weather.

Greater than one weekShould work out well. With all the rain and wind we get in the Northwest, I wanted a little more protection from the elements. The cover is made of plastic and while not super thin, you should be careful not to over torque the screws to avoid cracking it. The mounting plate on the rear of the cover does have a gasket that should also help repel water. The cover also came with mounting screws. I didnt like the white so I decided to give it a quick shot of black paint. As far as the price point, probably worth the money to protect your investment!

> 3 dayThese camera rain covers work great! They are easy to install and they are big enough to work with various camera styles. Now i dont have to worry about my outdoor cameras getting wet or covered with snow. I recommend this product.

> 3 dayI have some Wyze outdoor rated cameras but I like the extra protection provided by these hoods. The hoods are easy to mount after you have your camera installed. They are easy to mount and keep the elements off the cameras. They are ideal for the small cube cams but might not be big enough for the longer barrel cams.

> 3 dayThe build quality is good, as this is a sturdy and thick plastic shield. It has rain diverting shape to it and a gasket to seal against whatever one mounts this to. When considering this, measure your cameras. This does not protrude enough to cover some of the cameras I use, but works perfectly for ball style cameras that dont have significant length from mount to lens. As for the quality of this item, I cant find fault with it at all.

Greater than one weekThis shield is great. It’s light weight one piece molded ABS plastic that’s very sturdy, durable, weather resistant, and paintable. There is a gasket on the wall side and only takes 4 screws (included) to mount it. It has a molded in gutter around the entire shield and drains down the wall so no water runs off in front of your camera. This shield works with many different brands of cameras, weather transmitters, or anything else you can think of to put under these shields. They provide a 1-year warranty which includes free parts replacement and lifetime technical support. Very simple, very easy. I got this to put my weather transmitters under to keep them out of the weather (ironic). 5 stars all the way!

> 3 dayI am happy with this Universal Security Camera Sun Rain Cover Shield by OOSSXX except for one thing. I wanted a black cover but this one only came in white. So, I proceeded to paint the white shield with black spray paint! It was easily accomplished and now fades into the buildings dark trim. It doesnt call attention to itself. I am much happier with it and I do recommend it to protect your cameras!!

> 3 dayThis is a great shield for your outdoor camera. It’s just as advertised, and does what it’s supposed to. It is made from thick, heavy-duty material, and comes with the screws and mollies needed to hang it wherever necessary. But what I appreciate most about this outdoor camera cover is that there is a little gasket on the side that goes up against the wall to create a nice seal. Also, the inside of the shield is black, which seems to help knock down the glare.

Greater than one weekThis is a roomy weather shield that will protect anything from UV, rain, snow, hail, or anything else flying around. I use it to shield a “waterproof” L5-30R generator outlet, even though the outlet is stated to be waterproof. It readily mounts to any surface, (four screw points) against which its rubber gasket seals. It is made of a sturdy plastic but, in my case, it is not likely to be subject to abuse. For me, an inexpensive shield that adds to my peace of mind.
