Even after updating with the app, we could not get to stay connected to work with HomeKit. We ordered it to control functions of our fish tank including the carbon dioxide diffuser so we need a device that is reliable in any situation. We have many other switches that work just fine so we feel like the issue is with the device itself. Overall not happy with Outdoor Smart Plug, Refoss WiFi Outlet with 2 Grounded Sockets IP44 Waterproof, Works with Apple HomeKit, Siri, Alexa, Google Assistant, Apple Home, FCC & ETL Certified.

First, let me say that this switch is working perfectly for me now, but only because I ended up downloading the proper app onto an Android tablet and setting it up to NOT use the HomeKit services. I tried repeatedly to configure this using the HomeKit settings, but it simply would not work. I really like this smart plug... it has two outlets, and each are separately controllable. Im using this with some landscape lighting and it has worked perfectly since it was installed. Ive always had a problem with dusk-to-dawn sensor controls and landscape lighting, so using a device like this allows me to integrate it to Alexa, which then controls switching based upon dusk and dawn settings. This switch does not support dimming... its purely on and off. Again, Im really happy with this product and it works great... as long as you dont try to set it up as a HomeKit device. Understanding that, I have no problem recommending it to others and I would order it again.

I didnt know the brand so I didnt have big expectations, but this device works perfectly. I was able to add it to HomeKit within 5 minutes from unboxing. Pleasantly surprised also that I can separately operate the two outlets.

Connect this to your WIFI program and forget about it. It just works, and it works well! I use it for the Home app, so I dont care if it works well with alexa......

Work Ok, but use wifi 2.4Ghz

This was super easy to set up and use. It works great on the apple home app. All you do is plug in the smart plug then go to your home app and in the upper right hand corner click the plus sign. Once that’s done go over to the plug and put your phone on camera and then put your phone up to the code that is on the plug. Once that is done they will synce together and your all set. Only takes a couple minutes. You can then go in to the home app and control each plug individually. That is awesome. I love being able to have control of the plug like that. If you have never tried one of these smart plugs then I highly recommend it. It is pretty awesome.

Bought this to connect my outdoor light chain. Easy to setup and configure in HomeKit!

This is not an Alexa installed item. You have to download another app on your phone to control and add the Alexa controls. I don’t need another app on my phone. I just want to download the skill on Alexa and do everything from Alexa!

The instructions says “not to use on pool pumps “ but on my .5hp pool pump works great
