Purchased this for a friend so she can do arial silks in her tree. It works beautifully.

Used this for the kids tree swing works great not to twist the rope.

Bought the swivel for my kids netted saucer swing. I have an autistic daughter who loves to spin because it comforts her and this swivel keeps her spinning for more than 15 minutes after one solid push. It is a big win for this dad.

Good product overall. Ill be using it on my dogs sled harness to prevent lead twist & its will be good enough for that purpose. Its claimed rating is 35kn which should be enough for a kids tree swing or whatever. Its assembled using a flat heat socket screw, which is retained with a set screw. Both the socket screw & set screw heads are filled with epoxy, I assume, to prevent tampering. One owner reported failure after about a years worth of use on his childs swing & his photos showed the socket screw had backed out. I doubt the threads failed, rather the set screw probably didnt retain well enough & allowing the socket screw to back out after prolonged use. Since both screw caps are filled with epoxy, once they start to back out, there is no good way to adjust or re-tighten. It will be up to owners to monitor for this back-out condition & replace as needed, prior to a failure event. Perhaps a re-design to use a hardened roll pin in place of the set screw would offer better long term retention. For the price its a good product & with close observation you should never get to the point where you encounter a total failure, unless you regularly exceed the rated load.

I bought this to go along with a pod swing that I bought for my son. It got here late so he was asleep when I hung it up. I made the horrible mistake of trying it out to make sure it worked before he wakes up in the morning. This thing *definitely* works. If you tried a swivel from the hardware store to no success - then this is what you actually want. If you need something that spins just by the simply fact that you look at it - this is your swivel. If you want the smoothest spin youve ever had- get this swivel! If you want something that reminds you of those spinning cup chairs at the playground that spin nonstop until you fly off - this is the swivel you want. If you want to force all sorts of queasy feelings in your stomach and head - get this thing! Ill update again once the daredevil child himself has had a chance to give it a go, but I have a feeling this is going to be right up his alley!!

Worked perfectly for our big swing in the front yard. The kids love it, almost as much as the husband loves spinning it. Easy to install.

If you buys a swing or something that your hanging off ceiling this is a must buy. Especially for swing it does not unscrew when you go in circle.

Outstanding swivel. I used it on a large saucer swing that hangs from a tree. Super sturdy, super smooth! Well worth every penny! Highly recommended!
