I am so glad I purchased this bit! I got it in medium grit so I could remove my gel polish quickly and efficiently since my other bits including my ceramic bits just weren’t doing the job and the bits that could, caused grooves in my polygel (even with lightest touch) making more work and adding time I don’t have. I’m still a novice with the nail drill but having a great bit like this is a world of difference. I probably could’ve gotten the fine grit and it would do just as well removing gel polish. I think another reviewer mentions this. The biggest bonus for me was having a bit that I could use both left and right handed so if you do your own nails or you are LEFT HANDED …BUY THIS BIT NOW! YOU WONT REGRET IT! As for cons I can only think of one and it’s simply cosmetic. The colored piece at the base of the cone is hard misshapen plastic. It doesn’t effect its functionality and still serves its purpose, preventing dust from entering your drill so it wasn’t enough to remove a star. HESITATE NO MORE! LOOK NO FURTHER! BUY IT! If it’s not for you simply return it. Easy peasy…you’ve nothing to lose so jump off the fence if you haven’t already. ;-D

As someone else has said, it cuts through product like butter. That being said, it can probably cut through your skin or nails like butter too. So I wouldnt recommend it for someone who doesnt have steady hands or is a newbie.

This took off my gel polish so easily and didnt obliterate my nails. Definitely sharp enough to shape with but with a steady hand it was great for removing gel polish on toes and a very thin layer on hands. I know soaking off is probably better but I cant be bothered with it. This solves my issue. I am not great with a nail drill but not bad and I found this easy to use.

I use this on gelx nails to remove the polish before soaking for removal. Very smooth and perfectly removes gel polish. As others said, if you are a beginner make sure to practice. I am still fairly new at using a drill and while I can do my left hand with ease, I struggle with my right since I am right-handed. I slipped when working on my right hand on the last nail and slightly cut my finger. This drill bit does get hot, unlike a lot of the others I use/have used since first starting. If you take anything from this review, be careful, work slowly, and dont overdo it and you will love this bit as much as I do! Well worth the money!

I thought I would like have the different grits all on the same bit but I just cant get used to it. It was awkward trying to use the coarse part to debulk and the fine part had a hard time removing gel polish around the cuticle. Also, this bit did not work for soft gel tips. The fine end got gunked up so quickly that it was useless after 1 nail. This bit just isnt for me as much as Id love to like it.
