I use this bit to shape the cuticle and nail bed after acrylic or gel application. It works very well and has become a must have in my shaping and filing process. I also will use it to remove bulk on the rest of the nail. This purchase was a replacement but the one Ive been using for a year seems to be in perfect condition still, no signs of skipping across or catching on the finished surface which is an indication that your bit is getting dull. Make sure that you are using appropriate speeds as well if your bit is catching. Your speed should match your pressure and you shouldnt be pressing down.

I didn’t know I needed this bit until I ordered it and realized that no other bit I own is this good! If you are left handed then you know the struggle is real when you’re using a nail drill! People say to use it on forward but that is not practical or comfortable. It’s also not safe, as it is harder to see what you’re doing. This bit allows you to work in both directions safely. I love using it to take down bulk in the cuticle area. I am a beginning, self taught nail tech and think this is a great bit for beginners who may be afraid to use a medium or course bit to remove bulk. This but files through hard gels like butter and actually feels smoother than my ceramic bits.

I love this bit. I struggled with having my cuticle sharp, even & neat and with this bit it’s a ease. Perfect for beginners. The fine, medium, corse bit is the best! Please Be careful to not press down too hard because it will leave a dent on the nail quickly depending on the speed, and even penetrate through the entire nail.

You NEED this bit when working with artificial nails. It’s great for sealing the cuticle, removing gel polish, and overall shaping the nails. Beginners, do be careful with it because it is not a safety bit (drill bit with rounded top) so you can cut yourself or someone else with it especially around the cuticle area, but it is very easy to adjust to and use in forward and reverse on your e-file. Get multiple ! You won’t be sorry.

I do my nails weekly, I was using a sandpaper round to remove the gel polish over my gel nails and it would get hot and burn, not the worst thing but this process took a long time. This bit never did that and removed it easily and quickly. Only one down side, the dust FLIES EVERYWHERE! I would recommend proper ventilation and protection for your surrounding area. It works well, wish I had bought it sooner would have saved so much time and money.

This is the best drill bit to seal cuticles! Definitely beginner friendly, and something I use every time I do a set!
