came just as expected. laboratory parafilm. not exciting, but it is just what I ordered.

I was a little worried after seeing some reviews suggesting the parafilm was too old and that it would break too easily, when my parafilm arrived I immediately took it out for a test wrapping the diameter on one wide mouth 1qt jar lid. At first I thought I had received a bad batch as It was constantly breaking as I tried to wrap around with 2, 3, and even 4 squares! An important note is this is my first time dealing with parafilm so I decided to double check to see if it was user error and it totally was! What you need to do is hold one end to your surface and then pinch just a inch away and stretch out small sections at a time, youll get a feel for when its time to add a little more slack to stretch out. Using this method, with the same parafilm I was able to go around my jar lid not just once but twice with only 2 squares! Good product theres a reason its so popular!

I used this to wrap 20 petri dishes and after about 2 days it cracked on all of them which defeats its whole purpose. First 10 I stretched and when I saw those fail I tried wrapping the rest without stretching it and either way it dried up and cracked where the lid and base of the petri overlapped. Would not recommend for the price. I switched to glad mini rounds because of this.

高価な洋酒を保管する為に購入しました。 色々調べて出て来る情報だと、当商品をそのままカットして巻いている人が大多数ですが、実際に巻いてみると判りますが、幅があり過ぎて非常に巻き辛い&綺麗に巻けず隙間が怖く余計に巻かなきゃ駄目かな？と良い事がありません。 個人的には、当商品の3目盛？でカットし、更に縦に半分に切って使うのが非常に使い勝手良く綺麗に巻けてます。 コツは伸ばしながら巻きますが、もう片方の親指で巻いた箇所を押さえて密着させながら巻くと綺麗に巻けます。 1個買えば一生使える量だと思います。

Hard to adhere right out of the box. Cracked within the hour. Totally useless. Returned immediately as the stuff is not cheap. Must be old stock or stored in a dry place. Love the product but I would buy it again from a reputable laboratory supply place where stock moves off the shelves quickly enough. Also , if you do end up buying consider storing it in a plastic bag. Specially if you live in a dry environment. One roll will last me a long time so extending the life of the product is key.
