This stuff holds up much better than grease for any metal to metal contact where movement is not desired. Its closer to threadlock than grease, which is good. It prevents water infiltration, reduces creaking, and prevents things from getting stuck. I used to always use grease for everything, but I switched to using this stuff for pretty much everything except bearings and Im really happy with the results.

This stuff works great. Its particles increase friction, and your torque levels significantly decrease because of it so you dont over-tighten your bolts. I probably use this more than my standard green grease, but it this has its specific uses and blue is my favorite color so I’m biased. If you have high quality aluminum, titanium, or carbon components, this compound is fantastic. Highly recommend having this in your tool box, junk drawer, bicycle fanny pack (you do you). This is for sure an essential item now that I have bought it and determined it as such.

I like the squeeze tube. Less mess for my applications. The product squeezes out in a controlled manner. It applies like other anti seize compounds I’ve used. It’s higher price is one reservation that I have.

I usually just use some general purpose grease (cheap and does the job) for the occasional bike maintenance but thought Id splurge since I was building from the frame up. Glad I did! Works great, dispenses conveniently, and doesnt have the nasty stink of general purpose grease.

Good for preventing welding of seat posts, bottom bracket cups or any other metal-to-metal installations.

I purchased this product to use on new Shimano SPD-SL pedals I was putting on my road bike. Got the idea from the Park Tool YouTube video on how to change bike pedals. Only advice I can offer is to use it sparingly. I thought I was being stingy with the amount I put on the threads and noticed that upon tightening the excess grease ended up all over my pedal cranks. Trying to clean it up is very hard and messy so apply as little as possible to get the job done.

Probably too soon to tell but it looks like good stuff.
