Pearwow Window Air Conditioner Surround Foam Insulation Panels,AC Side Insulating Sun Block for Summer and Winter
-
For my Money
Greater than one weekI removed this from its box and it was a very nice material but it was white on one side and gray on the outside. In the end I decided to send it back because the air conditioner I had purchased and the window brace both were missing parts.

> 3 dayI ended up returning mine it is very difficult for all the different measurements you have to put into the configuration of your AC in the window and getting all the cut outs done correctly. Then fiddling with the double sided tape which is almost impossible to get the film off of it to get it to stick. Does not look like it does in the pictures

> 3 dayThis piece of foam is an absolute waste of money. The purpose is to leave your unit in the window while keeping the draft out. Dont count on it. You have to cut the foam to the measurements of the unit with the unit in your window, easier said than done. You could get a piece of foam anywhere for a lot less & do the same thing. My window is 1 of 2 side by side so there is nothing to attach the adhesive to. They dont bother saying its for a single window. Waste of money & more importantly waste of time.

> 3 dayThe price is a bit high - but it helps to seal up all the cracks with a nice clean look.

07-06-2025First of all it cannot be straightened out. Secondly, this is not something that will keep the air out, no matter how much tape you apply around it. I this this is a faulty, cheap item, that should not cost more than a $1.00

07-06-2025This ac really puts out cold air with high fan setting is super strong! However, the strong fan is pretty loud but at last it’s not hot!!

> 3 dayI purchased this with the expectation that it would replace the duct-taped accordion eyesore that surrounded my a/c. Instead it reinforced the old sides and I was able to remove the dry-rotted black foam. All was covered with this easy to cut and install (the double faced tape can be tricky, but its neatness doesnt really matter) white surface which matches the a/c. I now have a better looking and operating, properly insulated a/c.

> 3 dayThe insulation panel was fairly easy to install and it will definitely provide additional insulation, both in the summer keeping the heat out, but especially during the winter, when the A/C is not in use, keeping the cold out. (Once in place, I only remove the window-mounted A/C in my home office when I need to buy a new one.) The instructional video on the amazon product page is VERY helpful. Be sure to follow the carpenters proverb -- measure twice and cut once -- or else youll mess it up. The most difficult task was laying down the double-sided tape, which is tricky to work with. However, the vendor provided more than enough of the tape; I used only half of it.
