got it to keep my daughters diabetic supplies dry and safe during hikes and camp. Fits Omnipod PDM, strips and lancing device perfectly. Not much else will fit. maybe few alcohol wipe things as well. Does the job great, even in a hands of very active 9 year old.

High quality as you come to expect from Pelican.

I have two that I’ve been using regularly for kayak trips, beach and pool hangs. They can get warm because of the clear lid but that’s to be expected. On hot days I put some white tape or paper. Have had these go in the water and kept all the water out. They are easily tethered to my kayak. Great product. Keys and wallet go in one. My phone goes in the other. Sometimes I’ll put an ice pack underneath the box,wrapped in a thin towel, to help keep my phone cool.

Perfect case for a small medical kit. The case is heavier than a soft bag but it’s a trade off for the durability and protection from the elements.

I gave this to my brother for christmas, and he loves it. Hes able to carry supplies with him without worry of smells escaping, and it is ultra durable. He entrusts this case with some of his more valuable belongings, and he has yet to be let down. Highly recommended.

Item arrived early, intact. Exactly what I ordered. I have been using the black one for fishing. These will serve me better as they not only float, but are easy to spot in the surf.

I’ve got a couple of these Pelican 1040’s and they’re great little cases. I use one to keep a couple pairs of sunglasses intact in my carry on bag while I travel. The other is perfect for holding 10 Ruger BX-1 rotary magazines for my 10/22 and American rimfire rifles.
