Pelican brand speaks for itself and this case is no different.

Just fits my husbands new LG G2 phone with his rugged cover. We kayak and were disappointed that other water-proof boxes/gear we had couldnt accommodate his phone. Now, his phone and wallet can fit into this when we kayak.

Originally purchased this and returned it for a waterproof Plano box. The Plano is WAY better built..

This case is made of a fairly thick tough plastic like polycarbonate (I think). The overall case itself is clear. The bottom of the case has a separate liner made of a rubbery material that provides pretty good protection for fragile contents. Or, you can remove this separate liner and you have a perfectly clear case. The latch holds the case shut securely and the hinges are pretty rugged. The case is water resistant, but not waterproof. That means it will protect from normal exposure but not from immersion in water.

This case is perfect for storing my cell phone and keys when I go kayaking.

Simply works. We store my sons diabetic supplies in a cooler with this container. Keeps it dry and has withstood multiple drops, kicks, falls and temper tantrums from toddlers.
