I ordered this sponge for my new canister filter. Im impressed that this sponge has so much substance. It is a rough texture which should work well in the filtration system. It is thick n has rigidity to it so it wont just turn to mush when it is saturated with water.

I love the ease of replacing with just using another sponge - easy change out. My tank is so clean that I have noticed colors in my fish I never saw before.. This is obviously making a difference and I am gong to continue using this product as well as recommend it to others. I thought my filter was doing a great job, but adding this sponge has made a great looking tank even more awesome! Thank You !!!!

I have a cannister filter and use the Bio Sponge in one of the three trays. It has performed well and I can rinse it as opposed to replacing it like I do floss pads.
