> 3 dayI bought this for my one year old son so that he could get around, at the time Christmas 2012 he was not walking yet he was 11 months then, almost a year. Well I gave it to him on Christmas, he didnt really use it until the 27, day before his birthday, I had to show him. OMG his big eyes lit up so much on his little face once he realized he was getting around, it warmed my heart so! Well its two months later & he is walking on his own, he still uses it more as a toy & to ride on, his brother 2 likes to twirl on our kitchen floor in cirlcles or use it to climb >_< if I am not watching him. Its really cute & my mother in law wants me to get one for her house.

> 3 dayMy son loves his bike. He is tall for his age so most other bikes for his age are too short. He can easily mount this bike and swiftly maneuver it around the house. It was relatively easy to assemble. Great purchase for the active toddler.

> 3 dayI bought this for my 2 year old son that has developmental delays and is not yet walking. It has really helped him be able to stand up and get around better. Its a fun design so that he doesnt feel like hes working on walking and is having fun. He loves it and I like that hes developing more standing and walking skills without falling.

> 3 dayLove this little bike. My son just started walking at 16 months and uses it as a runner not a walker. Lol he was off the charts for height at his 15 month doctor visit so Im guessing hes rather tall for his age. Ive tried to get him to ride the bike but he doesnt quite get the concept yet and just goes in a backwards circle. Even that, I can see that this will take some getting use to since his feet hit the wheels while seated. Hell have to have either a narrow push or a wider push ( wider than the wheels), he loves to push this thing around and let me tell you hes a rough kid. He pushes this through grass, wood chips at the playground, pebbles in the parking lot. The works!!!! All using a helmet! Safety first!

> 3 dayFirst of all , this is high quality , no doubt . I bought this for my 10 month old granddaughter , hoping it would help her walk, help with her balance . But she is too young still for this . The principle is that the child can push it from the back and it would keep them more stable while learning to walk , and the angle of the back is suppose to help with the fall , which would be directly onto their bottom . As they get bigger, the baby can use it as a push bike , we didn’t get to try that out because she would have fallen off immediately if she wasn’t being held . The good news is that she screamed when we took her off the bike once we realized she couldn’t balance enough to stay on it . So she does love it ! We had to hide it immediately because she wanted to ride it so bad . I would but again? But the appropriate age should say “if the child can balance on the seat “ or “when the child is almost walking without assistance “. All in all , it will be a great toy for a few years at least .

Greater than one weekwe love it! my 14 month old has had it for about 4 months and hes a very tall baby so his balance has been something of a challenge while learning to walk. This has helped him so much! at first he was a little scared to get on it but within a week of playing around with it he took to it and hes improved his balance so much! I recommend this for anyone trying to help their children out with a little extra balance. especially tall babies whos balance is taking longer to catch up with their heights. I would also like to say that my very short 12 month old nephew uses it as well and he already could walk but he does enjoy playing with it and riding on it

Greater than one weekI love this ride-on toy. I have gifted it several times. My grandchildren started using this at the age of 8 months. My three-year-old grandson still loves it at the age of 3. I give it for baby showers/gifts.

> 3 dayWe ordered the Ybike for our daughter long before she was ready to walk. In the beginning I would seat her on the bike (her feet not yet able to reach the floor) and push her around in the house. She quickly understood the concept of holding on to the round handle however as her feet where still dangling she would start to slide if I didnt also hold the round handle from behind her. As soon as my daughter was able to stand we started standing her up in front of the bike holding the handle. Initially we needed to hold the bike to prevent it from rolling away. In no time at all my daughter was pushing the bike around un-aided and learning to steer and turn around. She still wasnt tall enough to sit on the bike and wasnt walking, only cruising. The bike gave her freedom to move around the main floor of the house and follow us around as we did various household tasks. I recommend using the Ybike on carpet for the first couple of days as it wont roll away from your child quite as easily. The Ybike is easy to build and was sturdy enough for my 7 year old cousin to zoom around on for a couple weeks while visiting. My daughter walks now however she still enjoys running around with her Ybike.
