PGN UCP205-16 Pillow Block Bearing - Pack of 2 Mounted Pillow Block Bearings - Chrome Steel Bearings with 1 Bore - Self Alignment
-
Long Lane
> 24 hourI bought two pairs for a cable dolly. The idea being to have the heavy roll sitting between two rods which turn freely using the PGN ball bearings. So far so good. they work nicely and are easy to align. The only problem is that they dont turn easily but are rather stiff. There are no instructions how to lubricate them and get them going easily. In the end I used a bit of lubricant for bicycle chains and that helped a little bit - but still not rotating as freely as expected. Update: I have ordered a grease gun and will amend if the situation changes

> 24 hourSolid bearing, its able to adjust slightly which is really good for less than perfect installations. Reviewers mention its crooked which is silly because you just it adjust it to fit and it stays perfectly straight, thats the whole point. Im using mine on a garage door spring bar to keep the ends from moving up and down as the bar flexes and bends. This bearing is Perfect for this since it adjusts, like its suppose to, to point in the correct direction and keep the movement up and down in check.

> 24 hourAppears to be a good bearing. Construction is solid. Bore is ground to within a couple thousandths. Fits 1/2 inch hardware. Zerk fitting is metric and tapped for 6x1.00 mm. It does still fit my grease gun though. Using a pair to build a 1/2 ton lawn roller. Will update with durability when applied.

> 24 hourPressed in crooked. Not useable. Both bearings arrived same way. Lacking quality control clearly.
