So long as you have space for the thicc 30mm height of these fans, theyre absolute monsters, and seem to perform better than Noctua NF-A12x25s when normalized for volume. I do not use the Advanced 3000 RPM mode, which requires toggling a physical switch on the fan (and has some pretty aggressive stats). At 2000RPM, theyre moving a ton of air, with outstanding static pressure. Im slowly replacing my other fans with these wherever theyre not visible; the Phanteks dont yet beat the Noctua chromax on looks. The fans support chaining via a female connector, which is fantastic, but watch out to ensure you dont overload a header. PWM support is robust. Looks like Noctua might have finally been dethroned!

I took a chance that this might fit in my Thermalright CPU cooler and honestly it was very difficult as the mounting clips are essentially designed for a 20-25mm fan.

One caveat - they are rather hard to screw mount due to glass fiber reinforced material on the housing.

having purchased in total nine of these fans for two systems, i needed to return three as pwm settings were being ignored and regardless of switch settings the fans always wanted to use the 3000rpm profile. Wanted to return the others also however buyer must pay to return and then accept phanteks will also deduct 15% !!!!!

Product does what it says. I had a 3000rpm fan before this for my heatsink, but it was quite noisey, so after looking at reviews I came to the conclusion this was the best 2000rpm fan out there, perhaps even better than Noctua. It may run 1-2 C hotter than my 3000rpm fan, on max temperatures, but the averages are around the same, however it is for sure quieter than my 3000rpm fan, which is the main reason I purchased it. Great product. Yes - there is a 3000rpm mode for this fan too, but I prefer to keep it quieter for now. Looking at some reviews online it sounded like 3000rpm mode was quite loud.

I read and saw many reviews and was eager to try these out. However, I am unable to complete installation. These fans are 30mm thick rather than the standard 25. Many cases are designed with 25mm fans in mind so you may find it difficult to use these in the same configurations you would use typical fans. My main issue right now is that the screws that come with these fans do not fit into my bits power radiators - these screws are too skinny. So, I either replace my radiator, send back these fans or try and get the correct size and length screws from a hardware store.

If they fit your case, need tons of airflow and dont mind some noise, you will be very happy with these fans.

If you like the Noctua NF-A12x25 performance and quietness then these take both to a new level. Very quiet with more CFM but can also deliver more top end CFM of course at the cost of higher db. No regrets!
