TL;DR: meaningful only for situations where the Noctua NF-A12x25 is just not enough (e.g. hight TDP CPU in a computer case without enough space fort a full size cooler) and where there is an extra 5mm of space to accommodate the 30mm thickness.

One caveat - they are rather hard to screw mount due to glass fiber reinforced material on the housing.

Very good quality and extremely silent on the default performance mode. Im now getting 36C idle compared to the previous 45C on a cheap fan from a heatsink tower I purchased.

Perfect for applications that need silence and high airflow. Will be purchasing a few hundred more for my computing farm.

If they fit your case, need tons of airflow and dont mind some noise, you will be very happy with these fans.

These are a little loud, not too bad mind you, but just a wee bit… but the airflow!!! It’s amazing how much air these push… my 7900X with a Noctua ds15 idles in the 30C range with these as case fans… great product!

This is by far one of the best case fans Ive owned, Im thankful for buying 9 of these because how hot the item is. Was worth the price!

The noctua fan I wanted was out of stock so I looked for alternatives and the t30 was one of the top results and I have no regrets in buying it. This thing is solid and pushes a ton of air.
