It is everything I imagined it to be, and Im happy. I love the easy set up and how you can just move the bulb to any lamp. I plan on getting more.

Easy to set up with you’re Amazon Echo, but instead of the ability to choose from millions of colors you get like 10 options. Philips simply wont work with your Echo unless you buy a Hue Bridge if you don’t own one. Hence my three star review.

Awesome bulbs and ecosystem. Definitely a premium price, but you get what you pay for. Response time is great (from button press to light responding, almost instant, something thats not often talked about). Color matching is perfect between their other bulb styles and lightstrips. Dimming is buttery smooth with a very wide range of brightness. Go with the color bulb as it offers more options even in the white spectrum, whether you like warmer or cooler whites. Nightlight scene is great for bedside lamps. Been adding bulbs slowly but surely for the last 3 years as sales pop up. Theyre all still working perfectly together.

Got a good deal on the bulb, arrived in good shape and immediately synced up with our Hue Bridge. All aspects of bulb are as if we bought it new and match our new Hue bulbs.

This is a plastic buld, the originals were glass but for $50 each. The build of these should have been front and center of the item.

I recently purchased a Hue starter set of white bulbs and loved everything they had to offer so I decided to give one of the color changing ones a shot. The bulb fits perfectly into my apartments light fixtures and the app and bulb work better than I expected. I will be purchasing again.

These lights were really cool until I forgot I have one of the Philips color lights paired in my living room fan and accidentally used the string to turn the light on...the light has not worked since...spent 2 hours on the phone with tech support and they couldnt help me. Hopefully by them telling me I had to BUY another 50 dollar light after spending 200 dollars on light, my echo plus will find the new light and my problems will be over
