Ive been using PI 11 since it came out. I upgraded to 13 pro when I got my new computer. There was a rebate and a load of extras included, so why not. One of the bonuses is a great slide show program, Memories on TV4. I spent two hours putting together a slide presentation and tried to put it on DVD (it has three options, including VCD). A window pops up calling for an unlock code to use that portion of the program. WHAT unlock code? Nowhere in the box, book, or install dvd does it have an unlock code. PI13 has the install code, but its a different number. Without the code, it defaults to the VCD which has good resolution and plays with many dvd players on the market (to that effect.)

For the price this is a terrific software. I must say I primarily use it for restoring old black and white or sepia photos, and adding text to old photos. Its easier than more expensive software I use for other purposes. Cropping is simple. It is more than worth it just for this purpose. I use it a lot, as I have taken a thousand old photos and made ancestry books from them. I dont spend time modifying newer photos, so I cant speak for those attributes. The only irritant is that Windows will not let me make it my default program for opening photos like jpg or jpeg files.

I purchased this for a Windows 11 laptop. Ive been using version 8 for years and I really like it.

While I am using this software for many years (the first free version came with my first digital camera), I would never ever recommend anybody to purchase it now. What was okey and relatively user friendly a decade ago makes no sense now when you can subscribe and use Photoshop and Gimp for practically nothing. My biggest issue with the program is horrible memory management. Its is incapable of opening and editing multiple images (I do a lot of scrapbooking) and having a text added to an image makes it practically dead. Just go for more powerful and decent editors. There are enough tutorials online to have anybody started with Photoshop even if you have a zero technical background.

If the instructions say type in the serial # and there is nothing that gives you any clue what it is and where it is, not good. Went on their website and found that I was not the only person scratching their heads.

Upgraded from the Photo Impact Pro 11 version. Still love it! Easy to use and great results. Tried other programs. None compare for quality and (important for me) ease of use.

Ive been using this software for years and years, many versions prior. It has been able to do anything I needed with a quick and easy to use interface.

I have upgraded from version 11 and I love this Photoshop software. Ive been using this software since it came out with version 10 years ago. It does take some time to get used to but its a fraction of the cost of Adobe C S6. Cant beat the price and my photos come out just the same as when Ive used Abode in the past.
