> 3 dayThe pilot VBall is the pen I have been using since 2003 back when I started college, my hand/arm get tired when I write a lot, but with this pen it takes a lot of writing before the pain starts. I used to buy them overseas, too. As long as this pen is being produced, I will continue to buy it.

> 3 daySuch great pens. I dont know why they arent more widely available. Smooth, reliable writing. Liquid ink is great for doodling. Time will tell if I should have got the fine instead of extra fine, but these seem to do the trick. I tried some of the Pilot Precise whatever pens and was initially impressed, but they didnt hold up well. These are what I used to use all the time and Im glad to see that I can get them on Amazon, as I can never find them in the store.

> 3 dayI love love love this pen and the pretty purple color! This is my third box (because Im a teacher), and I will continue to purchase these pens as long as they are available. I only wish they came in a box of pink-- my life would then be complete! Ha! As a teacher, I do not like grading in red-- too harsh. But blue and black are BORING! So, purple it is!

> 3 dayI love writing with this pen. When you start using a new one, it may take a few lines of writing to get the ink flowing, but then it starts immediately after that. The ink flows smoothly, and you get a steady dark line with a smooth, light stroke of the pen. Another thing I like about this pen--something I havent seen others mention--is the clip that holds it in your shirt pocket. Its firm enough that the pen wont slide around or fall out of your pocket, but its also flexible enough that you can easily position the clip on your pocket. And the clip is attractive too. Its odd to me how very few pens have a good clip like this! I guess people take it for granted, but I have many pens that write well, but the clip is unacceptable for shirt-pocket use, which is my normal way of working in an office environment. I think this is my favorite pen!

> 3 dayI read the reviews of the Pilot VBall before ordering, and I was surprised that people could truly be excited about a simple, moderately priced pen. Now I understand. The thing is, it does what you want a pen to do. Nice, effortless glide; ample ink lay-down; and comfortable feel in the hand. To me, a big plus is that it has pure liquid ink. Theres nothing like it, in my experience. I would note that the extra fine point rating is not as fine as some might expect. Thats perfectly OK with me -- the pen has an ample stroke, and thats what Im looking for. With a truly fine point, sometimes the line is skimpy and skippy. Not so with this pen.

> 3 dayI USED to love these pens when their plastic case was solid black and didnt scream V-BALL in bright white all over it. The pen itself writes great. But the look of them now....SO UGLY. Its breaking my heart that I cant use these now because Pilot insisted on turning the pen into some kind of giant advertisement. Thank goodness I can still get the plain black ones imported from Japan.

> 3 dayI love these pens! Black, blue, red, purple... whatever! They feel nice in the hand, last forever, the ink flows smooth and you can press hard and the nib doesn’t bend. My students are always trying to steal my pens because they are the best and this is the only pen I use. I have dozens of them and if Pilot discontinues this line, I’ll be devastated. Trust me, I know pens and have tried them all. These are the hands-down winners.

> 3 dayI know this is only a pen, and not usually worthy of a review, but these pens are awesome. Been using these pens almost exclusively for 5 years. The amount of ink in these is outstanding. They take forever to run out. I usually end up losing the pen well before it runs out of ink. These pens are tough. I forgot I had one if these pens in the pocket of my work shirt before I ran it through the washer and dryer. When I took the shirt out there was no signs that the pen leaked on the shirt. The area where the fingers grip seems to be a place where the ink likes to drip into. This only seem to happen if the pen is sitting in the hot or frozen car. Never had the containment been breached though. The only down side to these pens is if you are done writing something, you need to take the pressure off the tip or ink will continue to flow, and a blob of ink will form on the paper.

> 3 dayMet expectations and loved the purple color. I think it is silly that I have to use so many words to submit my thoughts on this product .... Makes you not want to write reviews
