Not quite the color that had hoped for.

I randomly got this for my wife, so she keep cherished items from her Mother. It’s large enough, and strong enough to keep those items safe. Small enough to store anywhere

The box itself is fine. Lightweight and attractive, but nothing special, and a bit flimsier than I was led to believe from the reviews. As another reviewer mentioned here, mine arrived completely crushed, and obviously the few air pillows tossed inside the shipping box didnt help. Were talking about sending a lightweight empty box inside a lightweight empty box, and it doesnt stand a chance if it gets buried in the UPS mountain. I would send it back and get another if I didnt fear it was an exercise in futility. I wouldnt order this online again. Better to go to a store and pick one up. Otherwise, its 13 dollars down the drain.

I looked at a lot of different options before settling on this particular storage box. I was looking for archival storage for the newspaper I have from the day I was born. Seeing as up until this point, it had just been stored in a regular cardboard box, subject to extreme heat, cold and occasionally humidity, I wanted something that would keep it from getting any more yellowed and fragile than it already was. But I needed to make sure the newspaper would fit flat in the box, to avoid any more damage than had already occurred. This turned out to be the perfect box! If I had a reason for buying more of these storage boxes, I would! They are of a very high quality - sturdy, rigid, and a snug lid. I love the different color options they come in - I chose the green, which looks lovely in my closet. A nice feature for multiple purchases is the built in tag on the front of the box, so that you can label each as to what is inside. (Note: the newspaper I have was printed in the late 1970s, which means the format is much larger than those of newspapers today. My newspaper does fit, very snugly - so it should easily fit the newspaper formats of today. If thats the specific use youre looking for in a box, of course.) Its been barely a year since Ive started using this box, so if Amazon.com is still around in 15 years or so, Ill report back as to the archival part of my review. :-)

Im very pleased with my purchases! All four (different colored) boxes arrived promptly, as described and the acid free interior is a bonus for my archival photos and other mementos/treasures!

Needed a box for scrapbook I did for my brother’s 70 th birthday. Use to be available in the local craft/art stores but not any more, it’s been years since I needed a box for a scrapbook gift/storage. Delighted it was available on Amazon so i bought one in purple and one in blue. The boxes are nice and sturdy and fit perfectly, will buy more. You won’t be disappointed.

I purchased 5 of them and use them to separate my pictures in groups. Nice box easy to store in my closet.

A damaged box was sent, not worth my time to return it.
