Received these today. Ordered them to clean up an old flashlight that we love and cant replace. Started with the Brass Wire. Within the first 5 seconds it was coming apart. The wires where falling out and pushing back into the handle. At first I was able to get them to come back out. But after 3 minutes or so, they were back up in the handle and would not move. Next was the Nylon Bristle. It came apart in my hand while I was removing it from the package. I was able to get it to snap back together for a few minutes use before it came apart again. Needless to say, the two brushes I used are an EPIC FAIL! Not sure about the Steel Wire and Fiber Bristle. I did not use them. Writing them off as a learning experience. Do yourself a favor, keep looking.

I ordered the whole set just to get my hands on the fiberglass scratch brush for electrical contacts. I had ONE that I used for at least 10 years but I had to leave it behind at work when I retired. This set of 4 various-fibered brushes looks O.K., but I eagerly got out the glass bristle one and twisted out a little stiff bit, and went at a tiny rust spot on a knife blade. Bloop! The fibers disappeared up into the body of the pen. Turned the advancing knob on the top. Nope. Nothing. Took the end off and there was the bundle of glass fiber. It wouldnt move except for a tiny bit and turning the knob did nothing. So, I guess thats what I have. Nothing. Just a broken pen and 3 more types for which I have no use.

I use mine on my modeling/sculpting bench. They work great, and its wonderful to be able to retract and protect the bristles when not in use.

This set is fantastic! If you work with electronics, even occasionally, these are a major help. Great for removing small corrosion, rust spots, exposing copper on circuit boards. Just awesome.

Really useful little brushes. The bristles extend out about 1.5 inches for a softer brush, or keep it short for stiff bristles. Used it to clean some minor rust and it worked beautifully. Had a small problem with my order but seller responded right away & took care of the problem. Good product and excellent customer service. A+

Got this to clean up an restoration project. After using to clean up the original hardware (which had been soaked in cleaner) the 2 I used fell apart after 1 use.
